If he'd maintain social distancing and took a more carbon free form of transportation he'd still be alive. /S/ Greta

No double standards |
Good point. But carbon free transportation is only for the masses. Elitist liberals are exempt. "Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women. When it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it....While it lies there, it needs no constitution, no law, no court to save it" - Judge Learned Hand, May 1944

This is a weird one. Fairly close to my home, not a lot of info. Where exactly did it crash? What was the cause? What kind of plane? Who was with him? I haven't seen any info on this. Placer County and Auburn are a fairly conservative part of the state. I can't imagine him being very popular as a politician. OZ

He died in a plane crash. A PRIVATE plane. There he was preaching about mother earth and the environment and the climate, and when he thought no one was looking he was spreading his carbon feet prints all over the place. Nature has a way of carbon feet print spreaders. _____________ "I enter a swamp as a sacred place—a sanctum sanctorum. There is the strength—the marrow of Nature." - Henry David Thoreau

He took off from Auburn Municipal Airport and crashed shortly afterwards. This is the same airport that You Tuber Blancolirio flies out of. Cause will be revealed after the NTSB investigation. You're right, that area if not moderate, has basic conservative leanings. The town-of Auburn itself is going to be more left-leaning however the surrounding areas and Grass Valley are definitely conservative. Chuck Yeager lives outside of Grass Valley.

Yes, definitely a conservative area with the exception of the City of Auburn itself. This is the second fatal crash out of Auburn in the past few months. The mayor tried to say his Facebook post was private and intended for just his FB friends. Not sure how it got out, but it was a bonehead comment for a public official. P229

Did we ever find out if he was the pilot, or was it the other person on the plane? So many unanswered questions. .
