I don't post enough for anyone to know I'm here, let alone know I'm gone.

Don't know if you're serious, but if that's by choice so be it. If not, it's never too late to make a difference in someone's life.

Yeah, being that this is the only social anything I belong to.

I showed her the green gun site. Said to get help starting a new post.

The odds are in the single digits that she will get it done.

I have an envelope marked "In Case of Rey's death" in the Safe Deposit bank. It has a written directions to access an encrypted volume in one of my two cloud services.

In the directory are copies of wills and powers of attorneys and location of the physical documents. I also have Excel files of all financial accounts including credit cards and any recurring expenses. There's a file of all my log ins and passwords that I export out of my password manager. But I don't have an instructions to inform anyone on social media.

I anticipate a lot of the church Choir (they will be singing) and my 2 nephews. Possibly one cousin from California. All my other remaining cousins are or will be too old to travel. Possibly a few former coworkers--we are staying in concact.

As to the OP? Not yet.

Internet forums were not on the radar ..

Pretty much the same here.

No obit - Those who need to know I croaked will already know.

No wake - I don't want a bunch of people milling around and staring at my dead body, and nobody wants to hang around a dead body anyway.

Just a simple funeral Mass and plant me in a cheap box so the worms don't have to work too hard. Although, getting shot into space might be kind of cool. I'll have to look into that.

Instructions for moneys and assets will be given.

Money will go to those designated, unless I succeed at pissing it all away before I buy the farm. Home sold and the proceeds going to a scholarship fund and part to my local parish.

I've considered just having a free for all for all of my stuff (except money and home). Friends and relatives can just swing by and take what they want. First come first serve rules so there's no fights. I won't be needing any of it anymore so what the heck.

What he said.

Besides, I don't owe anyone money. So I don't think anyone will be looking for me.

free beer and food always improves attendance at events, perhaps a chance at free trip or cruise...

I live within reasonable driving distance. If I know, I'll make a good effort to attend whatever service is planned. I've done that for several shooting buddies (not SigForum guys) over the years. Not really close to them, but I considered them friends.
