I like the idea of a Mini, and for certain use are better than a SXS. They are enclosed, have much more useful beds, and go fairly well on mild off road. The disadvantage is with the small tires and truck suspension they have a pretty jarring ride so you really need to go slow on trails and they simply can't get through tight, rough areas like an ATV or SXS. The one I rode in was pretty harsh just on a moderate gravel road. Also the ones I see for sale around here are all over 25 years old so you're left sourcing accessories and parts, repairing, and maintaining, a 1/4 century old vehicle that was never originally sold here. If I had a farm I might consider one for the usefulness of their bed but then a trailer behind a tractor or SXS I already have would probably make more sense. No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

I checked; mine is a 1000 XP EPS, and agree 100% with lastman you really do need the EPS power steering, especially if you are in 4WD mode. My friend across the lake has a the CanAm equivalent of my Ranger, and if I was buying now I would look at the CanAM too; his seems nicer inside than my Ranger. For me the decision was easy; the CanAM dealer is 70 miles, the Polaris dealer about 20. I LOVE the hydraulic Boss plow as our driveway is about 600' long, and I have to plow the 1000' steep road up to my shop and the private road I share with a couple of neighbors.

Passenger sits next to the driver. On the original ATVs the passenger sat behind the driver, like on a motorcycle. Any dog can be a Guide Dog if you don't care where you're going. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER
