I made a similar comment to my boss earlier today.
That Google puts up their 'doodles' for obscure unknown people's 267th birthdays, but only a tiny icon at the bottom of the page for today.

That Google icon is gone when I access Google. There's nothing on the Google page I see to suggest it is 9/11.
