Motorcycles and briar pipes. I would love to have back every motorcycle I’ve ever owned and some that I haven’t.

Cars and trucks. I'd need a garage the size of an airplane hanger. Think Jay Leno.

We think alike my friend. Some beautiful old classics and a few modern high performance ones might be a lot of fun too. Some sweet firearms would work their way into the mix as well of course too.

Real estate. A few houses scattered around the country that are furnished and stocked to move between per the desired weather.

Undeveloped land in very very large tracts.

And then I might build a museum to hold my
used toilet tank lid collection and expand it.

Collecting dust.

Education (on lots of things, not necessarily University type stuff, but possibly),
Training (on firearms and aircraft off the bat, probably others in time as I think of them),
Staff (tired of being president and chief ditch digger, would like to be able to delegate more things. Besides, if I have unlimited resources, I have enough bucks for a family office to take a whole truckload of stuff off my plate Big Grin),
Real Estate (in Free America, and possibly other parts of the world if the COVID hysteria ever goes away),
Guns (duh),
Experiences with the family.

I would probably think of other things if I had unlimited resources which would allow the time to lounge around and consider such questions in depth. Wink

A diverse collection of many things. A dozen watches, a dozen more guitars, toys of my youth in their original packaging, a half dozen classic muscle cars with a truck or two thrown in, some penny stocks that go for a GameStop run, gold and proof coins, a couple houses on the water would be a good start.

Well then....

I would want pre 1933 gold double eagles of every year and mint, both the Liberty and Saint Gaudens versions. Then move on to eagles, half eagles etc.

Fantasy time. Old car dealership building 1920-30 range. Retrofitted with updated plumbing, electric, HVAC, and lifts. Storage and shop space for what I have now, one of the two needs to be completed. Room for a few specific ones that I want, another 64 Mercury convertible like I thrashed in the late 60's, a 68-69 Road Runner, a 50's Willys Wagon in 4WD, a Plum Mist 67 Camaro, 03-04 Mercury Marauder, 62 Impala with a 409. One tall door also, want a vintage fire truck, either the 57 Mack B Series that was in service with the department I was on out west in the 80's or the Seagrave Safety Sedan that I took a pass on in the late 90's that was one of the last three Detroit Fire Department bought. A friend had it and offered it to me, problem was where would I keep it? That thing was huge! A couple other cars and trucks here and there as the whim strikes. Nothing like trailer queens, have to drive and enjoy them.

Showroom has to have display space to park one or two in there. A part of it walled off as a game room with a couple vintage pinball machines, a Coke machine and one coin op pool table. The grandkids have to have something to play with, right?

I’d collect experiences by traveling. Never been a fan of clutter or having lots of things. But I’d love to see the world.

These go to eleven.

Experiences. And any material things necessary to gain them. So probably a few homes around the globe, and some cool cars, boats and jets.

I’d collect representative models of every handgun used by combatants in WW2, a pied a tierre in every major European city, my own scorecards from all top 100 golf courses on the planet, wine (but not Bordeaux, all of you can have the stuff, never got a taste for it), and ancient Egyptian, Roman and Greek objects.

A couple of forum members have already beat me to this answer but land, mainly farm land and land with lots of trees.

At least in Durham, and the Cols OH metro area land is becoming scarce. Well, they also did it over the years in Henrico, VA. That are is now called Short pump.

Think L-88 Corvettes, Thunderbolt Fairlanes and LO23 Hemi Darts.
