Agreed. Especially if it still has a catalytic converter, scrap yard will give you a few hundred. I ended up donating my last junker after a few other options fell thru... (Cost me another trip to the DMV and $50 for them to print out a clean unsigned title that the donation place needed (It was probably going to the same junkyard). BUT, with the donation you can claim the full KBB as a charitable donation regardless of mechanical faults. Local sales really suck, I'm probably done with them.... Such a waste of time; scammers, jerks who want to negotiate down ~50% over the phone or email before they even see it and Soooo many no-shows. |
