This was my first thought...but as they didn't leave a call back number or reason for the call, at least not in English, I'm not sure what info they could gather. Hmm, maybe the voice speaking in Chinese listed and requested this type of info...which would suggest they might be targeting people who could speak Chinese. |

Don't laugh, I have an Asian neighbor...although I think he may be Vietnamese. |

I got a phone call from Social Security several days ago. A pleasant female voice asked me for my SS number. I said sure: it's 123456789. She then hung up. The nerve of her...hanging up on me.

Yeah, I've received a handful of those banking ones as well recently...along with a spate of banking offers and lottery winnings from Nigerian "officials". |

| If I had one super power, it would be to find all these scam phone centers, pull the fire alarm, wait 3 minutes, and then nuke the place. There's a special corner in Hell for these scammers.

| Our Governor is urging residents of Michigan to answer all calls presently in the interest of tracking persons that may have been exposed. If they want to contact me then they can use USPS, FedEx or UPS to deliver notice to me. Like I'm going to give some unknown person any information over the phone.
