I looked the group up and they believe in gun rights and are anti-big government? Why are they being regarded almost like a hate group? I don’t get it. Can someone enlighten me on why they are a bad group?

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t create this thread to show any sort of support for the NFL. They are still dead to me. It just came up on foxnews.com for me so I opened it to see what this “extremist group” that is causing someone to need to remove a tattoo is all about.

What I read about them they don’t seem to be bad....but some are regarding them as extremist? I don’t get it, so I wanted to see if someone can enlighten me.

That FOX News reported this story, or mentioned the NFL, or even reported quotes from the young rookie doesn't bother me... but the fact that the FOX News reporter couldn't be bothered to perform anything approaching journalism by taking even a few minutes to delve into and report the beliefs of the supposedly controversial group is disappointing...so much for "fair and balanced".

With recent news reports of the New England Patriots’ kicker with a Three Percenter tattoo, and The Three Percenters - Original being associated as a white supremacy, paramilitary group, it is imperative that the record reflect who we really are.

First and foremost, we are NOT a white supremacy group and we are NOT a militia or paramilitary group. The Three Percenters - Original stands for Freedom, Liberty and the Constitution, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background. We have members of all backgrounds and from all walks of life. We have a core value that is the key component to being a Three Percenter, not an external element, such as race.

What we are is a national organization made up of patriotic citizens of all colors and religions who love their country, their freedoms, and their liberty. We are committed to standing against and exposing corruption and injustice. Being a Three Percenter is more of a way of life. We will defend our country, freedoms, and Constitution.

For those that believe the Three Percenters are in some way anti-government, we are in fact very pro-government, so long as our nation’s governing document, the Constitution, is clearly adhered to. There are also rumors that we’re a racist organization. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Again, we gladly accept those from all walks of life. Patriotism is color blind.

Finally, we do not seek to incite a revolution. However, we will defend ourselves when necessary. We are not here to create violence. We believe violence should always be a last resort and even then should only be defensive in nature.

Our goal as Three Percenters is to provide a place to network and petition our government, in order to provide a positive framework that will aid in our work towards maintaining our Constitutional Republic.

Ultimately, The Three Percenters - Original has never been, is not now, nor will ever be an enemy of “the People.” We will stand for “The People’s” Freedom, the United States of American, and our beloved Constitution.

What a time to be alive. Thinking the government is too powerful is a controversial opinion, in a country that got it's start by saying, "You know, the government might be too powerful."

My take on it is like the Gadsden flag. ("Don't tread on me") The tea Party started using it, and suddenly the media and general public started assuming everyone who had one was "a member of the Tea Party".

The description of their organization sounds like something that would really bother our Congress-critters in DC. The media may be portraying this group as extremists, but I am certain they are getting direction from both sides.

One of the couple I know, is a excellent father to 3 children. They are good folks and a beautiful family. Third generation family business owners, community volunteers for homeless and hungry, they attend Church, one is active on the board of their local Government and a strong sponser of a organization to prevent Veteran suiside, 22 Until Valhalla of northern Kentucky.
