Wouldn't an Independent just divide whatever little "R" vote?
He would be a dramatic improvement over Feinstein, that is for sure.
Plus as he indicates the state is really way too corrupt anyway.

You'd have to search far and wide to find a tireless self-promoter in the same weight class as this clown. He's all hot air. Oh, and he'd love to take your AR away.

I doubt he could run under his assumed (radio) name. His birth name is Michael Alan Weiner (probably pronounced "whiner" rather than "weener" as in Anthony. The comparisons would no doubt abound.

Savage is an interesting listen from time to time. His stream-of-conscious style of broadcasting allows for some way off-tangent segments.

But pessimist is correct, he sees no use or value in owning an AR.

Correct on all points. Arrogant know-it-all behind the mike, this clown would lose badly in any kind of real debate.

Btw, this guy has no interest in running for any public offices. It's the same garbage he pulled a few years ago about running, iirc, for President. Roll Eyes Just the same shit to promote himself.

Have a link to where he has said he wants to do away with ARs??
I have listened to him for years, until last year when the moved his time slot locally. Never heard such reference so I quite interested in his stance on that as all I have ever heard is very pro 2A.

I find him to be pure ENTERTAINMENT gold. Nothing more no substance but good entertainement.

That’s what he will remain.

He has more chance of being elected Pope than Senator from California.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

You can go to his podcast of 2/14. He called for a ban on AR15 and all 'assault rifles' and a ban on 'high capacity' magazines. Numerous references via Google...I've heard him a few times, but not a regular listener by any stretch.

I don't have a link, but I did hear him on the radio a while back talking about this. He doesn't think anyone needs an AR-15.

I was a bit surprised to hear him say that, and tune into his show a lot less now because of it.

ETA: I went back to see the time-line that I heard Savage make those comments.
It was last November, following the mass shooting that happened in a Texas church.
Here is what I posted at that time:

My response:
"..I was listening to him last night, too.
Had to turn him off after a while. I couldn't take any more anti AR-15 propaganda.

I was surprised by this. He's a pretty smart fellow but was completely wrong on this subject. In my opinion, of course. .."

Thanks fellas.
It has been at least a year since I have listened since they swapped his time slot here locally.
Prior to that I had been listening for years and don’t remember such comments.
Seems like I remember one time of stating the opposite when he ordered his Hellcat when folks asked him why he needed something with so much power kind of contributed toward AR ownership but I could have misunderstood too.
Sounds like the San Fransico water has gotten to him and that is unfortunate.

I saw that Stacy Dash has filed to run for something out there. I wish her all the luck in the world.

"Dash to DC" is the theme and logo of her campaign for Congress.

One comment I heard was that she at least lives in the district she promises to represent, a dig at Maxine Waters, who lives in a $4million mansion outside of her district.
