Looks like they forgot the expiration date. Good forever? Download it on your phone to use over and over.

Personally, I've never found the steak at any of those steak houses to be any better than mediocre--at best.

They have good warm bread.

I've been a few times - apparently a very popular place with the older folks. I'll wait a few more years and then I'll fit in with the crowd - and eat my dinner at 4:30. Big Grin

Surprisingly enough, our local Longhorn Steakhouse prepares salmon better than any local restaurant specializing in seafood.

I was just having this conversation with my wife. It’s all about perspective. If this is what you are used to…then you are going to think highly of it.

My wife got a recommendation for a Chinese restaurant…they raved about it. We went…let’s just say..it was no bueno.

Personally, I’d much rather grill my own steak than eat out.

I have gotten to the point where I don't expect my food to be great when I eat out. It's all about the people I'm with that matters to me. I wasn't always like this. I guess losing loved ones has changed my perspective. Thanks for the coupon.

Good conversation is great but if the food is mediocre that becomes the topic of conversation. The service is also important. You should only have to speak when you place your order.

we eat there , or rather get take out, once in a while,

of the steakhouses close to us, it is the best of the lot, and good easy take out service,

steaks are OK, never as good as home grilled, but passable and easy to pick up when time is tight

I've eaten there and it's been okay. Actually 10X better than the 1 time I tried Ruths Chris. Anyhow that coupon is unlikely to work. Can't be reproduced. Participating locations, etc.

These go to eleven.

So print one out every time you want to use it.

Oh and this was about sharing a coupon, not if you think it has good steaks or not.

Higher end fast food.
I go to then when I'm on the road and have some idea of what to expect.

Longhorn is OK but expensive, Texas Roadhouse is definitely the best franchise steakhouse in the US in my opinion. Ive been all over the US and from my experience Texas Roadhouse is constantly one of the top steakhouses I've dined at. Great steaks at a reasonable price plus they're veteran friendly offering vets 10% discount on meals throughout the year and a free meal on veterans day. The Texas Roadhouse in my area offers 20% off for veterans on Mondays and I can get a 16 oz serlion plus 2 sides and a soda for just over 20 bucks.

I think that trying to use something like this is closer to theft than proper ethical behavior.

Also, unlikely to be accepted as it’s a copy of actual coupon, at best.

What kind of paper was it printed on? Any watermarks or printing on the reverse? How realistic is it that the average potential customer can reproduce an authentic coupon?

I imagine Longhorn will get hip to this scam pretty quickly, and examine the coupons that are presented pretty closely. Perhaps more likely, their marketing department wants this to be "abused" as a low-cost way to getting new customers who might become regulars. In other words, who's scamming who?

That is too bad. If it was bad I would have sent it back. Ruth died a few years back and then the restaurant got crazy with franchises. The original in NOLA is great.
