sigarmsp226BACON lovers at Thanksgiving time - Bacon wrapped Turkey Breast - Photos
Wife said lets do something a little different this year so I bought a boneless turkey breast that was brined and then wrapped it with over a pound of thick sliced bacon....About two hours on the Kamato grill at 275F and a couple of small pieces of Cherry wood for flavor resulted in an internal temp. of 165F (Recommended internal temp for poultry) and let it rest for 20 mins......We just tore this thing up.....Happy Bacongivings Everyone....Mark

KenSI've got a small, whole bird on the BGE that's prepped the same way. About 10 more minutes.

joatmonvDammit, why didn't I do that today.
Mine is smoking as I'm typing this. I have apple and cherry wood with a slightly sweet rub.
Next time for sure. Looks really good. Enjoy and happy turkey day, with bacon.
