Just something else to be hacked. I don't understand the fascination with technology when simple works- Like the stamped steel license plate. I bet the real objective is to have a government transmitter on all cars so they can tax the vehicles for usage by the mile. ____________________________________________________ The butcher with the sharpest knife has the warmest heart. | |||

So only one company is authorized or can even produce the plates? what could go wrong there? Saves a trip to renew? Or put the new sticker on the plate? Online renewal takes a minute or two. Putting the new sticker on the plate? that is too much effort for some these days? Promoting interests? So I cam change the plate to SIG? In Michigan we can do online renewals, mail ins, at a Secretary of State office either walk in or by appointment or if just a sticker renewal at kiosks that are 24 hour accessible at S of S offices. Digitals, another gimmick for those with more money than common sense.
