Woo Hoo! Another sunny hour in the evening is a sure sign of Spring Smile

(Well, yeah, officially it's the wee hours tomorrow when it ends, but who's up at 2 AM to celebrate?)

I would much prefer we stay std time. I do not need daylight into the night. Give me early morning daylight. Surely I am in minority. But that is my preference, fwiw.
I have no love dst myself.

You and me both. Having been an avid hunter and fisherman most of my life I've seen far more sunrises than sunsets and prefer it that way.

I don't care which they keep, just pick one.

This changing messes with my internal clock.

I would, too, because the sun more or less at peak height at noon, in each timezone, was the whole point in the first place.

But, I'd be happy enough if they'd just pick one and stay with it. This messing-about with the time-of-day twice-a-year is just plain stupid, IMO.

No, I think it starts tomorrow, not ends. You have it backwards.

I've never had a problem adjusting to the change either way, but I guess some do. That said, I'd prefer to just keep Standard time year round. IMO, all DST does is keep it light outside when I'm trying to go to sleep at night.

Put it on standard time and leave it alone, imho. There is far more evidence supporting standard time than daylight "savings" time. Either way, pick one and stop messing with it (standard is just preferable, I prefer mornings).

Around here, on the western edge of the time zone, it's light until dang near 2300 in the summers. I don't like it one bit. Never have.

My first time not having to mess with this nonsense and I absolutely love it. The sun always sets at a reasonable time, it's not daylight at damn near 10:00 at night in the late summer.

Because when it is 110 degrees we just really need that sun to stay up until 9:00 at night…

I like DST in the summer time. Gives me a chance to play 9 after work. With that said, let's just pick one and call it a day.

Word. I'm losing an hour of pay tonight because of this bullshit. Sure it'll be nice getting home "early" but inevitably some shitsack during the rest of the week will be late, and I don't get OT for that because some retards 200 years ago couldn't self-regulate, and now we get to deal with it still.

My vote is to lock in on DST. The light is more valuable to me after work than it is before.
