That was the toughest part for my dad, he finished up as the Lodge Advisor for our Order of the Arrow Lodge. Once I had left for college and my attendance dwindled, he knew it was time to move on as well. He didn't want to be the guy that was still hanging around but, his kid has already moved-on.
