“ ‘Crazy ass Uncle Tom’: Democrat State Rep. Juandalynn Givan says Clarence Thomas ‘sold us back into the hands of the master’ “

A couple of paragraphs from the article -

"This mf'er, this man, this Uncle Tom, this Uncle Tim…and I'm so pissed and I said this today…this black man right here, I don't know what kind of black he is. I don't know what damn plantation this man came from. I don't know what slave ship he was on. I don't know what part of the slave ship he was on," Givan said on Facebook on Monday.

Don't democrats understand that Uncle Tom is gender specific?

Hakeem can suck it. Unelected judges are making decisions for democrats as well.

Kamala Harris...what a whiner besides what would happen if the courts were packed with 4 more reublicans?
Why cant we sell Puerto Rico back to Spain?[/QUOTE]

"Glasses" Givan is one of the most racist people in Alabama. She all but says that she hates white people. I call her "Glasses", because every time she gets face time on camera, she has on a different pair of designer (awkward-looking IMHO) glasses. She is a local attorney, who ran unsuccessfully recently to be the mayor of Birmingham. She often calls into local radio shows, and immediately goes into "screech mode" if anyone disagrees with her. I would love to see her "perform" in court. She is a bovine fertilizer salesperson, and freely gives oral samples. JMHO, YMMV.

UPDATE: "Glasses" Givan was defeated in a state primary election on Tuesday, May 19, so she won't be returning to the state legislature. I guess even her constituents were tired of her antics. Good riddance!

NAACP calls for boycott of Southern college sports programs over voting rights

"The NAACP is calling on Black athletes and fans to boycott the athletic programs of public universities in states that are taking steps that the nation’s oldest civil rights group says are restricting Black voting rights."

As we say down here, bless their hearts.

I'm sure that most all of those athletes will be more than willing to give up on their only chance to get out of their Podunk towns and make real money. Especially at the whim of idiot politicians they don't give a shit about anyway.

Sure ...Shhh..ure.

The Kongress Kritter of one of our gerrymandered districts (7th) in Alabama claims to be "fighting" for her constituents and such. Yeah, right. She just recently has been playing the "race card" against the USSC re-districting decision. As I have said numerous times, as long as a representative can take care of the constituents (aside from addictive welfare programs), then party isn't as much of a factor. Actions speak louder than words. But in this 7th District, there are numerous problems with water and wastewater system infrastructures that have been existing for YEARS, and practically every representative has failed to adequately address the issues, instead getting rich and bettering themselves. Below is a link to a recent story about sewage problems in the heart of the 7th District.
