Muggers seem to find off duty cops with great frequency down there.

I have watched that before. Dropping all the money on the floor is a great distractor. Hopefully many sigforum members will remember this move if the time comes.

Are Venezuelans limited in when ATMs can be used?? I have never seen such lines for an ATM in my life.
Seems like a really bad idea.

In order to prevent a run on the banks, Venezuela has a limit on how much money can be withdrawn each day.

Small businesses operate in cash, and often pay their employees in cash.

So you see people getting in lines at ATMs multiple times a week to withdraw money for their daily use, to pay employees, etc.

Oh, c'mon, that was just using her as concealment. While he feigned a retreat, did a hidden draw from concealment, approached again and initiated a gunfight with an armed opponent while she was standing right there.
