What's funny is that along with my new T-Mobile account comes a free subscription to Netflix.

That's what we're using, we have Netflix wife watches some shows, but with the T-Mobile you get the basic covered for a year. Might as well use it,

Netflix does have some good content, Ozark is an excellent series, Queen of the South is pretty good, and they have some oinkers as well, but as with any service, they all do.

Well, I have two lines with them, the wife and me, and unless I'm missing something, the subscription is indefinite.

I believe you are correct, for some reason I was thinking it was term limited deal, I don't see a restriction listed as far as time is concerned at the link.

I'll bet the go woke, go broke hit is bigger than those that doubt it think it is. It's disgusting and you're not gonna convince me that all of those "woke" companies aren't feeling the pain because of their choice to back the mentally retarded. I'm not saying it's the biggest part of the hurt, but it's definitely a bigger contributor than some may want to admit.

Easier than that, I have not and will not give them a goddamn penny. I buy BluRays and DVDs or borrow them from my local library. Same with music.

I think it’s a bigger part of the shift away as well. I know for a fact it is for me and several of my friends. Netflix has been woke for some time now, but there was still a lot of content I liked. Eventually it got to a point where I’d seen everything I wanted and every new series and documentary was full of leftist bullshit. As the price continues to rise and the content continues to insult half of the country, they will continue to lose conservative users.

So, I watched The Irishman on Netflix, and now re-watching Apocalypse Now Redux. Yeah, I'll suck up their bandwidth at no charge to me.

I'll probably play whole series in sequence without even looking at them.

I might just send them an email and tell them how much I think they suck. There's not much they can do about it.

I think there's a lot of sharing user names and passwords out there as well. I heard someone put it out i=on the net for people on more than one occasion.

You receive Netflix free with the type of T-Mobile account Para refers too. I have this type of account as well.

However, this morning I drilled into my account with T-Mobile and in my case, I had a $5/monthly charged tacked onto it because the upgraded version (Netflix Premium UHD) box was checked. I deleted that service and now receive Netflix Standard for free.

It was better in the early days when they would mail a DVD to you.

Better movie selection back then.

That's a superb way to get your account quickly disabled. You can't be in Portland and Pittsburgh at the same time.

The first time their network senses that kind of shit with an account, it's gonna be lights out.

Believe it or not, I heard that they still do that, and that there are quite a few people still subscribed to it.

I agree with those that think this is mostly a systemic problem.

The growth investors have priced in to this type of stock (Netflix, Facebook, Tesla, new green energy firms, etc.) expectations that it will always "grow" subscribers or customers in perpetuity.

Investors of this type do not particularly value profits only revenue growth. So growth investors don't seem to mind that most streaming services loose money, only that the service's customer base grows.
Netflix has probably reached the limit of it's potential suscriber base given the competition. Streaming services now make it easy to sign up for a month, pick the low hanging fruit and move on.

Obviously there is a limit to growth; Tesla's market value is often higher than the next ten Auto companies combined even though Tesla would have to invest $ Trillions to have the production capacity to make all of the vechicles that market value suggests.

The first sign of a stumble in growth and a growth stock gets dumped.

They know that and have said that they think that was part of their growth because they reached a lot more customers who might not have ever given it a try.

They are now going to crack down on shared passwords because of their recent losses.

I canceled mine last month, I had only had it since the fall. I had canceled cable almost 7 years ago and thought maybe I’d like to catch a few movies, I wasn’t too worried about their woke programming as I just chose not to watch that stuff, but with the cost per use ratio it just wasn’t worth it for me. I have Discovery plus which I find myself watching more than anything when I do turn the T.V. On which is very rarely

Mainly competiton. Only a few will remain. Remember VHS or Betamax? Plus I read and work a lot. Makes no difference to me. I have never had an account. I would not buy the dip.

Cancelled our Netflix yesterday, much prefer Prime. Grandkid will miss Stranger Things, but said she can watch it at her friends house.

The woke stuff will always be around. I'm currently watching Derry Girls. Great show and a lot of fun. I think the most interesting character is the Nun.
