It's a deal. If Franken resigns, you owe me a steak.

Only if it is mutual. It is a bet, not a unilateral offer.

I'd think it would be worth the cost of a steak to have dinner with Parabellum. Big Grin

Now I'm confused about whose on what side of this bet....
I thought jhe888 has said all along that Franken will formally resign.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

That's the joke. I acted as if I misunderstood him. When he clarified, I doubled down.

It is obvious. If Franken does not resign, Para owes a steak.

If something happens after that, it is a new game.

IMO Franken is damaged goods, and he is toast.

And yes, I would be glad to host Para for a killer Kobe steak any time.

If he shows up in pajamas, YOU get the steak. Resign or not.
