How does Arizona fit in if this passes? Would they be mandated to follow it?

Change it every six years instead of six months.

I may have mentioned this in an earlier discussion about DST, but...

I've put a few industrial controllers in place whose firmware was already programmed for DST rules for the next 20 years or so. The ones I installed have probably all been decommissioned by now, but they're a widely used product. A change in DST rules will likely keep some engineers and programmers busy for a good while, sorting out problems in time/date-based machines and systems already in service.

I'm sure the airline and railroad companies are very interested in this debate, too.

I'm imagine there will be claims by the Dems that all the 'Nightowls' are being 'disenfranchised' and that people either can't afford or will be forced to buy sunglasses! And of course, there will be the 'usual suspects'/RINOs that will vote with the Dems to kill it!

I just heard on local radio that two of our Republican jackasses are against this. No wonder the Republicans get their asses beat constantly in New Jersey. And who do you think one of them are? Tom Kean, Mr. MIA.

As I said before, just pick a goddamned time and stick with it. So much jerking off for so little, there's a reason the founders weren't fans of career "lawmakers".

I'd prefer Standard Time as well. Darkness after 8:00am for those in the western parts of a time zone just doesn't seem right.

I want all the daylight I can get, especially in the winter. I hate getting home after work and it’s already dark.
