I have a shelf in my car that is convenient for sunglasses and other items but they slide around too much. Someone suggested contact paper like you would line your cabinet shelves with. I’m not sure contact paper would work but I’ll look. Does anybody have another suggestion?
I’m assuming you’re talking about a small area. Home Depot has Rubber contact paper for tool boxes that you can cut to size. They also sell a 3M product that’s a little more aggressive than grip tape, and they also have a rubberized version.
They also make sticky pads for phones like this one:
Olixar Sticky Pads for Car Dashboard - Stop Items Sliding in Your Car, Anti Slip Sticky Gel Pad Phone Holder Mat, Holds Cell Phones, Keys, GPS, Sunglasses & More Tree Frog - 1 Pack https://a.co/d/dDSue3R

I had forgotten that drawer liners are different from the old contact paper liners. They are perfect for cutting to size and stopping items from rolling all over. I’m gonna go with that. Thanks for your suggestions.
