Wall Street is soaring now that Trump is likely to win. The only polls that I believe are the ones that show Trump winning and from what I've seen so far, it's going to be a clean sweep. Get ready to bust out the champagne Wednesday morning guys!

My brokerage just posted an editorial concerning today's rally in the market.
The driver behind the market surge is Comey's announcement but the author urges that everyone understand this rally is not because the market now expects a Hillary victory but, rather, is a rally because the cloud of an impending indictment and trial is, at least for now, no longer hanging over the future. The market dislikes volatility and anything that causes uncertainty. Comey's announcement removed the odds of a political spectacle (for now) and that brought comfort to the market.
It is NOT because the market now anticipates a Hillary victory (or a Trump victory.) Today's rally has little/nothing to do with an anticipated winner in tomorrow's election.

justjoeI hate the term "liberal bias." It sounds like we have journalists out there who, overall, are doing a pretty good job, but, gosh, every once in a while they slip a bit and show their own political disposition.

Regardless of what happens to Hillary after Trump wins, I will take great pleasure seeing her lose what she believes is rightfully hers. I'd hate to be around that witch tomorrow evening or the next day.
