http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/27/...-election/index.html

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio refused to say Thursday whether Donald Trump would keep the country safe as president and whether the businessman would be a role model for children.

Rubio, who is seeking re-election, also said a Republican Congress is necessary to be a check on whoever the next president is, adopting a pitch that other down-ballot Republicans have made in the election's closing weeks.

******************
we need Rubio to win the senate seat, but we never ever want Rubio as a presidential candidate again

must be new DEM talking point: the need for the president to be a role model for children. We keep hearing that over and over.

sdy - CNN has taken what Rubio said and spun it completely out of context to make it sound like he said what they wanted.

He said none of this in the way CNN has reported. Nothing he said was negative to Trump whatsoever. Don't do the liberal media's job by repeating this crap.

It certainly sounds like life imitating art (Project Insight from Captain America - The Winter Soldier)...

Sorry for all the movie references...

But if true, it certainly makes me think a little bit...

Settle down Boss, AI is the new term for "software that computes things and outputs data or controls something (like a robot arm) based on available data"

just a new name for what has been around for a while.

The MSM and the Hillary campaign trotted out another woman to make charges against Trump.
It's getting desperate out there.

mainframe - thanks for the lecture

Best I found of what Rubio said:

When asked if Trump would keep the country safe:

Rubio:

"The military is what keeps (the country) safe,"

"We have to rebuild our military and (Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton) is a supporter of the defense cuts and the sequester which would be damaging to our country."

When asked if Trump would be someone to look up to:

Rubio: "People know I have strong disagreements with both candidates in this race," he said. "I think Hillary Clinton would be a terrible role model in terms of the things she has done while in office. She destroyed emails and evidence while she was under investigation. And her policies are bad too."

"Like most Americans, people look at this and say, 'These are not ideal choices,'"

It should be obvious to everyone by now that these claims are bogus. If the previous one didn't take him down, trot out another one. Remember Herman Cain? None of his accusers were legit.

Rubio = another brick in the wall. And not the right wall.

But why bother with them at all? They are who they are, they say what they say, they do what they do. We know them. They are what we need to defeat.

Same thing with the "media." Is anything they do or say a surprise at this point? They are the Democrat propaganda machine, they are Hillary's ass kissing stooges. Do we need more proof or evidence?

So, fuck 'em. Fuck 'em all. Why react to them at all? Let them react to us when Trump wins. Smile

You guys do realize that a lot of people will vote for Trump because of the way Repubicans are acting, right? I'm talking about people who normally would not vote for a Republican.

All of this is to Trump's advantage.

Whoa! Talk about an attitude adjustment...

CNN currently giving a Demo candidate a pretty good grilling over HilLIARy and the Klinton Foundation. Demo was asked about some of the foundations fundraising and practices..Demo gave a very nice, eloquent canned response...the CNN talking heads were like 'We've heard a very similar response from the Klinton Foundation...and it sounds like a 'dodge' ...and kept pressing him on it.

That sure seems like a major attitude change. 3 days ago, they would have just taken his answer, smugly nodded their heads in agreement, and then started bashing DT again.

If this tone change keeps up, its going to be very interesting indeed...

Yes Sir! I would have cast a vote for whoever was on the ticket, but for me it is the reason I voted FOR Mr. Trump and didn't cast yet another vote in yet another election AGAINST the democrat nominee.

Definitely unscientific observation from Memphis / Shelby county Tennessee.
I work and live downtown so myself, my wife, and all my employees early voted downtown which is much closer to "the hood" and definitely where all the state / local / federal government employees, lawyers, law students, and the like would go to early vote. In other words, democrat base voter skewed area. There are NO lines, at all. Nobody out handing out propaganda, NOTHING. Of 8 people I know who voted there this week at lunch time, there was no line or any other person there voting.

On the other hand, out at Shelby Farms, Collierville, and Bartlett (suburbs) republican base voter area reports from my friends who voted there this week reported 15 to 30 minute lines.

I've got some questions for the democrat candidate.
If you're all about breaking "the glass ceiling" why have you dropped your hyphenated last name? The public hasn't seen "Rodham" associated with your candidacy, but after your husband was elected president you boldly went where no other women had gone.
Lack of commitment or phony?
Also, every time wiki leaks releases more of your hacked e-mails you start screeching about Donald Trump enabling the Russians for this behavior. How do you know it was the Russians who hacked your e-mail? It could have been been anybody considering that YOU had the unsecured server that was hacked. Aren't you a victim of your own poor judgement when it comes to the wiki leaks hacking?
Have these questions been asked?

During Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department, she did not report any gifts or travel reimbursements for herself or her spouse in her financial disclosure filings. …"

I, as well as many others I suspect are noticing how hard DT is working, and his stamina. She seems to pop up here and there, and then disappears. DT seems to be everywhere, working some serious OT. There's no denying it.

Of course her camp is trying to spin it...'When you're ahead you just sit on the ball and run out the clock...' Right, just keep telling yourself that...ahead, and run out the clock. Even *if* you were ahead, by a field goal at best, there's still PLENTY of time in this game left to play.

I'm not ready for the tinfoil hat brigade yet, and I admit, I'm not a techno guru, but to the average person, as I say, *if true* this is quite interesting. An AI program that has been learning and getting smarter for 12 years? If this is truly something of a autonomous brain/consciousness-like program (not something to drive mechanical components like a robot (Cyberdyne T-800 Model 101) arm...one would think its learning would be increasing exponentially, and so on, and so forth...but that's a topic for another thread...

I was out paying some bills earlier today and one of my stops happened to be within sight of our early voting place. I sit there and watched people going in and out and noticed they were all “up there in age”. While I was there, I saw two walkers and one wheelchair out of maybe twenty people. Since it was mid-morning that wasn’t too much of a surprise but then I had a thought; these are the people who remember when America was great. I think Trump’s slogan of Make America Great Again is at least one of the things bringing out the older voters.

There was no line, but then again, our ballot was very short. Since I live in the county, mine only had four things on it.
