I am not concerned about Trump winning the election

I am concerned IF he wins

The Electoral College actually has the final word - popular vote be damned

does anyone know specifically who these people are and how corrupted have they become in the last 8 years?

I did a web search and was able to find the names of several individuals in the EC but they were for historical elections - nothing for 2016

Those people are chosen in the election. There is no "Electoral College" with existing permanent members. Each state has a slate of electors who will be chosen if the candidate they are pledged to gets the most vote in that state.

Which part is it you think he doesn't understand? While technically possible, it is a stretch to assume that either candidate will get to 270 and not be elected in the EC. I think that is the least of our worries right now. Getting to 270 on November 8th in a fair election.... that's something about which to worry.

Satiate your curiosity by reading the article I cited. Electors are chosen by the political parties about a month before elections. Laws in each state vary a bit.

Ole nate silver has that UT guy a 1% to win the election. IF, which is a big if he wins utah, it could split EC votes and congress could pick him.

Also plenty of elections where EC votes unbound from the winner of the whole state. VT and NH allow peeling off of EC votes and allow write ins. Its unlikely but possible.

Interesting guest list continues on for Trump's debate tomorrow. He has invited Malik Obama, Barry's half-brother, all the way from Kenya, to be Trump's guest. Holding a dual citizenship, including the U.S., the former Democrat switched after disappointment with his brother, and is now in Trump's corner.

Don't think it matters who sits in the front row. Neither candidate is going to be intimidated by the mere presence of someone in attendance. Particularly Hillary she is without conscience.

Now if the candidates had to be subjected to a 10 minute question and answer segment directly by their accusers that may bring about a bit of anxiety and record ratings I'm sure.

Regarding the hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of undecideds in this election, I wonder what do they do when election day comes and they haven't decided yet and are standing in front of the booth. Do they flip a coin? Play rock/paper/scissors with themselves? Take a bathroom break so as to gain a bit more time? Look and copy what the guy/gal/they in the next booth is doing? Go eeny, meeny...?

I think that the most reliable, scientific method is rock/paper/scissors. Opinions vary.

Am retired now, but at work I lived by email. We would constantly remind ourselves and our entire team about unclassified email systems:

Don't put anything in an email that would embarrass you if it appeared in the front page news.

So it's OK for the biased, liberal media to interfere and influence our electoral process?

Those people exposed in the email leaks should be held accountable for what they said instead of listening to and believing their public lies.
