I wouldn't class fabricating stories from whole cloth as getting it wrong. Most of what they have published over their history have been nothing but lies- complete fabrications. It's a rag, full of fantasies, calculated to titillate imbeciles.

Saying that they've gotten stories wrong implies that they seek the truth. They do not seek the truth. If they relied upon the truth, they wouldn't ever have gotten off the ground.

Yes, the world is chock full of imbeciles, but that doesn't make the National Enquirer any less of a rag.

And by the way, your "the readers believe it so that's all that matters" stuff is how the liberal press is killing us, and if you want to justify that behavior because you think the twits who read that stuff will vote for Trump because of it, you share the same philosophy as the leftist press. Congratulations. You're in low company.

Now, that's enough, guys. I don't want to see anything posted from the National Enquirer. This is not a request. This is how it's gong to be.

Let's move on, please.

I'm no fan of National Enquirer, and in fact have never bought a single copy of the publication.

But...they did nail John Edwards when no else would dig into the story, so there's at least a chance that they have something here.

Clinton keeps championing equal pay as an important issue she will address.

No wonder they never talk about the Clinton Foundation

Clinton Foundation:

Median salary of the highest paid men is $346,106, while the median salary of the highest paid women is $185,386 ($190K difference)

Amazingly enough, ever since they broke several political stories the last 10 years or so that were true, their reputation has improved.

Strange, but true.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I saw a Hillary commercial with a "republican" bitch saying she thinks Trump has some sort of metal retardation like her child because he moves his hands while talking. What. The. Fuck. They go low we go high!? Was Hillary high when she said that? That woman is not a republican and that garbage add was 100% despicable.

On a positive note (stick tries to stay positive when possible) during the Sunday night football game the NRA ran a outfuckingstandng add at least twice with a woman talking about the right to protect yourself and why she is supporting trump. It was VERY powerful.

Trump announced in Colorado today that he will call for a Constitutional Amendment to introduce term limits for both the House & Senate. Is willing to negotiate on the length but suggests 6 years in the House and 12 years in the Senate.

This is the best thing he's said. My vote for him is a protest vote, because I think he's full of it, but I'll sure as hell vote for term limits in the houses of Congress.

Arc.

It would be refreshing if the election would turn to the issues.
Hillary has nothing but personal attacks.
She never talks policy.

Ha. That's hilarious. Now he's just poking at the establishment on purpose and overtly.

Whether or not it's ever accomplished, it's good campaign strategy in this climate, imo.

It would take Trump 10 minutes of prep on YouTube to watch videos of Ben Shapiro and Milo Yiannopoulos completely dismantling the fallacious arguments of inequitable pay for women.

http://www.wsj.com/articles/bi...-spending-1476783002

U.S. labor unions are plowing money into the 2016 elections at an unprecedented rate in a frenzied effort to help elect Hillary Clinton and give Democrats a majority in the Senate.

According to the most recent campaign-finance filings, unions spent nearly $110 million on the elections from January 2015 through the end of August, a 38% jump from $78 million during the same period leading up to the 2012 election, and nearly double their 2008 total during the same period.

Almost every large union is spending more than ever before seen in modern elections, funding rallies, canvassing efforts and ad campaigns to bolster Democrats.

The AFL-CIO has spent $11.4 million funding outside political groups, such as super PACs, thus far, up from $5 million at this point in the 2012 election, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.

The National Education Association has spent $14 million, up from $7.7 million.

The unions’ efforts to support Mrs. Clinton are particularly crucial as polling shows white working-class voters—who often belong to labor unions—are drawn to Republican Donald Trump’s campaign message. Mr. Trump has a 23-percentage-point advantage among white voters without a college degree, according to the most recent Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

Has he ever read the Constitution? Does he not understand the Constitutional Amendment process?

What did he say to lead you to that conclusion? Please be specific. Did he say he would "pass" or "enact" a constitutional amendment?

If a President or other high ranking official wanted to see the process begun to amend the constitution, what would be the first thing they would do? Would they not "call for" , or advocate for, an amendment to get the process started?
