This is a good point. Most people don't remember for very long what is said in such an event but they remember how they said it for a long time. In the first debate, Trump was timid and Hillary seemed to command the event. People remembered that and she was declared the "winner." Different outcome last night. Trump was the one who seemed to control the proceedings and Hillary was the one who seemed flustered at times. He "won" the debate. What was said will fade quickly but the way it was said will resonate all the way to November 8th. | |||

My wife had only just heard about Trump's comment and the "controversy" last night when I told her about. When she finally saw the clip (I think Megyn Kelly played it on her show after the debate), my wife said, "that's it? Seriously? In France, that would've probably helped the candidate."
