Peace through superior firepower |
How many times do you need to be told to cool it with that stuff? I don't want to see that from you again in this forum. Don't say a single word about Ted Cruz. Get over it. Let it go. Fair warning- you're not going to be happy if I have to deal with this again. Grow up, please.

so sexy it hurts |
Just got back from seeing the Donald at a rally in Charleston, WV. Probably 15,000 people there. The mood was great--none of the 'racist/fascist window-lickers that the media wants everyone to believe as Trump supporters. Just the communal feeling that America needs fixed. There were a dozen protesters outside, but they seemed quiet, almost defeated. I was hoping to run into some of the blacklivesmatter idiots, but they were absent. Maybe because it was cold and rainy. Trump is definitely not an oratorian, but I'm on the bandwagon. Anyone but Hillary. "You have the right not to be killed..." The Clash, "Know Your Rights"

Guess I've missed it,what is his stance on using coal.

so sexy it hurts |
80% of his speech was about coal. He dissed the EPA, dissed Hillary, and garnered a ton of applause every time he talked about returning coal mining to its former glory. He was also endorsed by the West Virginia Coal Association, and got a miner's helmet from them as a gift. He put it on. The biggest applause came when he removed the helmet and while tossling his hair said, "See, it is real." He then went on a tirade about hair spray, and how it's not as good as it used to be (talking about how hairspray nowadays doesn't hold like it used to). He then dissed environmentalists and climate-changers regarding the destruction of the ozone layer from hair products. "You have the right not to be killed..." The Clash, "Know Your Rights"

Funny about the hairspray. Nice to see he can laugh at himself. ************************************************* NRA Life Member Capital punishment means never having to say, "You again?"

I kind of figured that would be his approach. And yet another reason to like this guy. I come from a long line of coal mine workers who bled and died for a living. Many worked in the WV coal fields. Now that the mines are so much safer to work, and coal plants are so much cleaner operating. I hope we continue to use our valuable resource to become even more independent from overseas energy sources who have held a knife to our throats and their hands in our pockets in the past. Last I heard we had at least 200 more years of energy producing known coal reserves.

Folks be pulling stuff out of their derrière trying to come up with an explanation. Being a southern evangelical Christian my social media is full of the self righteous and how they won't vote blah blah blah. In evangelical circles Trump has forced the reality the United States is not, was not, nor will it be a theocracy. Donald Trump is for real. Charismatic but genuine. I'm amazed at how shaken every facet of status quo is over this campaign. Reality check X 1,000,000

When was a little independence a bad thing? People will & should support Trump as the GOP presidential candidate, in their own due time. It's only been a couple of days since Indiana & I think GOP support has already started moving behind Trump from the other candidates. I've voted for Cruz 5 times over his political career. I realize it's time to move on & support Trump. Those still grumbling will come to understand that not voting or voting for an Indie, is helping the Hildabeast. Time will heal the wounds. Very glad to hear Trumps' strong support for the Coal Industry. 100% correct to do so. .

I'll try to be brief |
I do not believe Trump "inherited" anything. But he did displace some would be heirs.

While the left would dismiss this as rambling, it's exactly why he connects to voters. Even if the listener doesn't have a hairspray problem, they immediately connect to the message of EPA over reach when they think about their gas can that won't pour, their ant killer that doesn't or any of a hundred other things that government intervention has messed up. Meanwhile, pundits and wonks lap up some memorized nuanced policy crap that Clinton is spewing.

As someone else pointed out, the more this unfolds the more the establishemnt hacks on BOTH sides are showing their true allegience...to themselves. Both sides have sold the American People down the road for their own greed and in their own way. Its got to the point now where these two paths have converged into a ruling class system that is accellerating at a rapid pace. They believe the "coup de grace" is within their grasp. They are also arrogant enough to believe they can pull it off. The more they pull this crap, whether its the dems replacing The Beast at the last minute, or the reps like Ryan pulling shit they are, its just poking the bear more. They are further fueling the fire that feeds both Trump and Sanders. -------------------------------------- "There are things we know. There are things we dont know. Then there are the things we dont know that we dont know."

The reason folks didn't see Trump protesters or rioters in WV is simple, they'd have gotten a beatin' right where they stood. We're full up with country people, hillbillies & 'necks. We just want to work.

Reince Priebus said that Trump and Ryan are slated to meet next week and will “talk about these things,” and he added he anticipated things will ultimately “work out.” “I talked to him this afternoon after he made his comments,” Priebus said. “And I talked to Donald Trump, too. And they’re both committed to sitting down and actually talking this out and actually, they’re likely to be meeting next week.” and Rep. Darrell Issa has endorsed Donald Trump for President. ********************** I think Priebus understands the voters have spoken. Hope so anyhow.

It's not you, it's me. |
I love this twitter/facebook post that Trump made yesterday and how it bugged the shit outta people. The best is if you read it in his voice. Amazing how people get offended so easily

I can see how an English teacher could be offended. "I love Hispanics" should be a new paragraph! Other than that, seems he's just braggin' up his grill.

Edge seeking Sharp blade! |
Shouldn't all the pundits and politicians who were against Trump during the primary quit with the negatives now that he is the presumptive nominee? Every negative they spew about Trump at this point is a vote for Shill/Uncle Joe at this point. Time to shut the hell up already and quit campaigning for the dems!

Obama spoke today about Trump: “He has a long record that needs to be examined,” Every candidate, every nominee needs to be subject to scrutiny and standards, he continued. They need to have solutions to problems that are actually “plausible.” ************** if we had done that for Obama, he would never have become president

Retired, laying back and enjoying life |
Wife was for Trump right from the beginning, me, not so much. So much for his unfavorable from women. As time wore on I saw what Trump was doing and the negativity from the pundits and main stream politicians convinced me the ruling class was scared of him. Little by little I was drawn in to him, not so much by what he says but more so on the fact that he seems real and sincere. After years of hearing politicians parrot what they think you want to hear and then totally forget their promises and then business as usual I started seeing Trump as a breath of fresh air. We need some fresh air to blow out the stench of all the bullshit in Washington, D.C. Freedom comes from the will of man. In America it is guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment

crazy heart |
It’s stunning how the GOP establishment is ignoring the will of the people. Like Trump or not, he is the last man standing. This talk of not supporting the Republican nominee by Ryan and others (Medved, etc) because they don’t like him smacks of unbelievable hypocrisy. How many times have we been lectured about the hopelessness of 3rd part candidates, and how that only helps the other side? Now that a candidate has emerged that the establishment doesn’t like, they change their tune. Now, maybe a 3rd party is a good idea! Really? Trump is the clear choice of the American GOP primary voters. That is a fact, and no amount of hand-wringing by the GOP is going to change that.
