The line at the local poling location was just about out the door. Usually something has caught everybody's attention when this occurs. I hope they're there to vote for Mr Trump.

What a butthead. We may as well start calling Obama Frankenstein, since he was a big part in creating the monster that is Donald Trump. The Republican Party is the other half of that equation who I'd like to now refer to as Igor since they were the willing enablers of Obama's planned destruction of this country.

Barry Frankenstein and his cowardly, obedient facilitator, the Republican Igor.

Dimassimo has been indicted under H.R. 347. http://www.tbo.com/news/electi...rump-stage-20160315/

"Dimassimo’s attorney, Jon Paul Rion, says his client is a hard-working college student whose intentions were benevolent and a way to express his political ideals." And I wish him a happy birthday too.

somewhat OT but it involves Kasich and Rubio.

Rubio asked Kasich to have Kasich supporters vote for Rubio in Florida. Rubio would return the favor in Ohio.

Kasich spokesman said "We were going to win in OH without his help, just as he's going to lose in FL w/o ours"

But now, Kasich is asking Rubio for help.

http://www.redstate.com/streif...pennsylvania-ballot/

John Kasich’s presidential campaign called on Marco Rubio to tell his supporters in Pennsylvania to drop a lawsuit that could keep the Ohio governor off the ballot for the state’s April 26 primary.

Nathaniel Rome, chairman of Pennsylvania Students for Rubio, filed a petition in Pennsylvania court to keep Kasich off the ballot, since he failed to garner the requisite number of signatures to be added.

Rome’s lawyer is John Bravacos, the brother of Chris Bravacos, who is chairman of Rubio’s Pennsylvania campaign.

“Senator Rubio should tell his people to drop this suit and to have his super-PAC quit attacking John Kasich in Florida,” Kasich campaign spokesman Rob Nichols told Bloomberg Politics.

Trump needs to win Ohio tonight. I've heard rumors that Kasich will stay in the race anyway, but he needs to be humiliated and his motives need to be exposed. He doesn't deserve the cover of winning his home state.

from Chuck Todd:

In OH, the pro-Kasich/anti-Trump outspent Trump 2-1

In FL, the anti-Trump/pro-Rubio forces outspent Trump nearly 8-1 in FL. Yes, 8-1

Trump doth ever prosper,
Out on the stump.

Unless Trump gets enough delegates to win the nomination outright, the party will pick a candidate we don't like at a brokered convention. That's this primary in a nut shell.

A vote for Cruz is a waste, even though he's my choice, since he can't win out right, and won't get chosen in a brokered convention. He's done.

And that man is our President. My immediate reaction was to burst out laughing, and then I wanted to weep.

^^^ Can you explain some of what's going on on that ballot? What's with all the names and the candidates in quotations?

And election ballots should be printed in English only. If you can't speak English, you shouldn't be voting.

Yes. Cruz is an admirable man who has accomplished a lot. But, Cruz, like Rubio, seemed to ride the outsider movement known as the Tea Party on their way into office. But, once they got there through enthusiastic elections, they like so many others were marginalized and nullified by the establishment. Cruz stood up, but was ineffective. He gave great speeches and was a conscience, perhaps, for those who would listen. But that’s it, “for those who would listen.”

For too long, the reform sought through the Tea Party has remained ineffectual. Now, the unaccomplished results require an even stronger voice: Donald Trump. It as not as though Trump is perfect but the voters have long let that pipedream go. Trump offers a hope for what so many Tea Party elections were supposed to produce – a more responsive and less nutty-left government .

It seems the Democrats are racing toward an even more leftist government while doubling down on Obama’s agenda, but worse. The people of the United States do not want socialism but they do want to put someone in the presidency who will be more inclined to kick ass to right the ship of state. The existing Republicans have failed us for whatever reason and it no longer really matters why. Perhaps, this is what the establishment does not understand. The people want to see results and the voters seem to want someone who is not concerned about necessarily keeping it pretty.

Results. Let’s see some results. Trump offers that in unapologetic spades.

From Newt Gingrich:

Gingrich speculated that Trump and Cruz might actually form an alliance, similar to how they did in the early days of the campaign, in order to prevent a brokered convention at the last minute.

“If Trump is at 45 percent does he negotiate with Cruz?”

“They will band together and have 85 percent of the delegates between them,” Gingrich said. “Both of these guys are committed to breaking up the old order.”

“How is somebody who’s never run going to stand up on national television and on social media [as the brokered candidate] and not get run out of town?” Gingrich said, referring to a potential Mitt Romney, who could walk onstage at the convention after a backroom deal.

***********************

I agree w Gingrich. If no one gets to 1237 delegates, Trump and Cruz together could stop any back room deal. If it was necessary, that would be a real "teaching moment" to the establishment.

Like the guy in the Showtime documentary said: All Trump has "is a lot of votes".
