Nope and nope. I voted for him because I don't much like being touched and I really don't like massages. Everybody says he's a massageonist so I figured I'd just vote for a fellow massageonist. We've gotta stick together, just not to close ya know.

(Forgive me please. I'm still having too much fun.)

For me, it was the about Supreme Court refresh, and somewhat related was the fact that Trump got the NRA endorsement.

Oh, and I don't trust the Clintons since they are gun grabbers.

I'm a single issue voter for the most part. Get the NRA endorsement, and I vote for you , otherwise, hit the road.

Shamelessly stolen from another site, where a member posted this:

Grandma got ran over by the Trump train
Thought she had the 'lection in the bag
You can say the Russians were the culprit
We're just glad we're rid of that old hag

We were dreadin' Crooked Clinton
Didn't look good for our boy
'Til the truth came to the surface
Through Assange's Wiki Leaks, oh what a joy.

We're just glad we're rid of that old hag

We were dreadin' Crooked Clinton

Things were gettin' pretty ugly
Special snoflakes breakin' down
Throwing fits just like some children
'Cause the witch that they supported got no crown.

Grandma got ran over by the Trump train
Thought she had the 'lection in the bag

Last ditch effort at the college
Recount didn't work before
But electors did their business
And left their hopes and change smashed on the floor

Yeah, and we can look back now and bitch about George Bush, but, no matter what, he kept Al Gore out of the White House. Man, that would have been bad. Al Freaking Gore as POTUS!

George W Bush was far from a great president but he genuinely loved his country AND he let the AWB go away so he is ok by me. Para is 100% correct. Gore would have been a clusterfuck on methamphetamine.

nhtagmember,

No. We don't necessary need a better class person to start running. We need to remove the media's ability to crucify good people so they can pick and choose candidates.

What good and decent person wants the God forsaken fucking media going through their past like some kind of dystopian government official with ungodly resources at their disposal?

No. we need to take a baseball bat to our feckless media who take pleasure in building people up only to rip them apart and try to influence elections by placing unreasonable and unrealistic goals upon them.

The main reason we have not had better candidates run is our media. They need to be kicked in the teeth. Trump was willing to do it and now he will be president.

President-elect Donald Trump met with Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg and discussed ideas to make the Air Force One program more affordable. The pair met Wednesday afternoon at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Florida estate.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Muilenburg called the meeting a “good, open discussion” that was “very productive.”

Muilenburg revealed they specifically spoke about the estimated $4 billion Air Force One program that Donald Trump specifically criticized earlier in December.

“We’re going to get it done for less than that, and we’re committed to working together to make sure that happens,” he said. “And I was able to give the President-elect my personal commitment on behalf of the Boeing Company.”

“We’re all focused on the same thing here, we’re going to make sure that we give our war fighters the best capability in the world and that we do it in a way that is affordable for our taxpayers,” Muilenburg said.

He also praised Trump’s business sense while trying to strike a better deal with the American people.

“It was a terrific conversation. Got a lot of respect for him,” he said. “He’s a good man. And he’s doing the right thing.”

*************************

remember that old story that Trump didn't want to do the boring details of being president, so he offered Kasich the VP job and Kasich would be in charge of domestic & foreign policy?

The Donald (can we call him "DJ" ?) is acting like it is a lot of fun to run the most complex executive office ever created.

If this were a chess game, Obama played by using 2 pawns. Trump is using every piece and playing in 3 dimensions.

Sessions’ attorney general hearings begin on January 10.

Theoretically, there isn’t much the Democrats can do to block Sessions.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will approve his nomination on a party line vote and a simple majority is needed to confirm him—all thanks to outgoing Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) nuking the filibuster rules on presidential appointments. The GOP just needs to hold the line.

I agree. The Left will call him a racist, which is complete garbage, and any other name they think the media will repeat for them, but Trump won't care and won't withdraw Sessions' name. There are at least a couple of black Democrats from Alabama that will testify on Sessions' behalf. One of them is a prominent civil rights attorney. The name calling is going to look very hollow to those paying attention.
