Donald Trump believed to be direct descendant of Rurik the Viking who established Russian state

President-elect Donald Trump believed to have some Viking descendants
Genealogist claims he has links to Rurik who established the Russian state

Soon to be US President Donald Trump may get his assertive rather than passive manner from his alleged Viking descendants.

Russian genealogists claim that Mr Trump is a direct descendant of Rurik the Viking who established the Russian state.

Whilst others believe it is his mother’s heritage that may provide the Viking link.

According to the nationalists newspaper Estonian World Review Russian genealogist Aleksey Nilogov says Mr Trump has ties to European royalty but he claims Barack Obama is also a descendant of Rurik.

More descendants include Henry III of England, the first three King Edwards, and Joan Beaufort, Queen of Scots.

Mr Nilogov believes Mr Trump descends over the course of 35, 36 or 38 generations from the ninth century ruler, Rurik, via three distinct female lines.

I'll second JALLEN's comment. I read a lot of articles, including all those he posts. Tube, I'd have to say your writing style and clarity in conveying ideas is easily on par, if not exceeding a lot of contributors on sites like American Thinker and Townhall.

Well done, Sir.

Thirty odd generations really dilutes the DNA. If this guy is anyway accurate, President Trump has about 1/200,000th the DNA of the guy.

The Powhatan Tribe, which Pocahontas was a member of gets lots of claims of "Hey I'm descended from her, how do I join?" They have an excellent reply that show how fast heritage diminishes.
Most tribes accept blood relations that were on the tribal rolls and can show a certain degree of blood relations. That's often 1/4th or so.

I guess it's like being in jail or a prisoner and being freed from your shackles at the last minute before your demise. I find a new peace and a light hearted free breeze of hope has come over me. I have a comfort that my remaining years may turn out Ok after all. There is hope now for my children and grand kids. And hope most of all for this great nation to heal and become united again. May God Bless President Trump and The USA and guide us all to a bright future.

Pretty close to how I feel too. There was a big sigh of relief from many of the people I work with too once the hag was put back on the shelf.

Not surprising to me at all.

Until I "unliked" his FB page about 2 days before the election, Allen West was sounding more and more like a Never Trumper to me.

I am starting to see how the Trump/Pence team is going to operate together. Trump will not hesitate to kick someone in the ass while Pence will offer a smoother side.

So long as Pence and Trump's other leaders stay subordinate, it looks like we really will see a better and more unified country.

If you did not see it, here is Pence on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. At 11:31, Pence discusses his view of the Hamilton question. Very well done in my view.

Vice-President-elect Pence is leading those abandoned by the Democrat leaders as he assures them of President-elect Trump's desire to embrace all Americans.

Sunday on NBC’s “Today,” Bloomberg Politics co-managing editor John Heilemann said President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet was “shaping up” to be, “a group of old white men.”

So maybe 200 years from now, there will be a play like "Hamilton", only it will be called "Trump".
