" This was the same instinct he showed when wrapping up the Obama meeting where he said "very good man". I think what he was trying to say in both cases, was that he was recognizing they may have had SOME "good intentions" but both statements can make the casual viewer / listener raise an eyebrow as to how he actually feels about them. I think he is just trying a little hard to show his "softer side" and I don't necessarily have a problem with that, but it may make some supporters scratch their head a little.

I interpret that Trumpism that to be the same sentiment when we Southerners say the phrase "Well bless her heart".

He is savvy to not take the bait at this point and juncture. He is being patient and I like it.

I am hopefully hearing this as "no reason for the current president to forgive her (officially) for something she didn't do. She's good people.

(oh but come Jan 23, 2017...)"

I think part of the problem lies with the fact that president sparklemuffin never let a moment or event pass without uttering his petty opinion on the matter (such as his "I dont know all the facts but its obvious the police acted foolishly" bit), and we got used to this level of amatuer 'statesmanship.'

Trump knows what he is doing. Without making ANY commitment one way or the other, he deflected the question and deflated any of the "he wants to imprison his political opposition" crap we have heard from the leftists.

It was a genius move.

Investigate - HONESTLY - everything they did, bleached emails, foundations - EVERYTHING.

Publish everything found - even if Baraack is implicated.

I am shocked to hear the media call this a surprise win. That sounds like a BS cop-out to me.

Dems lost the last three major elections with the exception of Baraack getting re-elected. And the media is surprised, suddenly, about Trump winning.

Ostriches, every single one of them.

Also, I really love all the second-guessing about the President-elect, about what he says, whom he appoints to this position or that.

Wow, in case you've been asleep for the past year and a half, the guy beat a field of 16 career politicians, senators, governors and the like, to win the Republican nomination.

That alone is amazing, but he then went on to beat Her Royal Highness, who had been ordained to be our next ruler. I mean, it was in the freakin' bag, and yet, Donald Trump defeated Her Majesty.

And you guys are going to criticize his choices? You're going to give him advice? Seriously???

Some of you guys need to realize that Donald Trump doesn't need your advice. Really, he does not. He doesn't need your second-guessing. What he needs from you is your support in his efforts to turn this country around- to undo some of the damage done to it in the last 8 years, and that is all he needs from you.

I agree with why he said what he said, I just felt others might misinterpret in a litteral sense when the media use it as an out of context sound bite that's all. I know he is trying to appeal to everyone and move the agenda forward which is why I clarified with my followup post.

I thought his nomination of Hillary after knowingly being cheated out of it would make him more nervous.

Tell you what you do, Bernie- you should run for President. Since you know how this place should be run, put your hat in the ring, comrade.

What's that? You tried that already? Well, then, Bernie, you're just plain fucked, man.

If he marries Chelsea his name would then be Bernie Clinton-Sanders and he just might have a chance of the DNC considering him as a option.

You can read the article here but this is the line that stood out to me.

But Steve Bannon was a far more controversial pick. His website is rife with bigoted, anti-Semitic, homophobic, misogynist and just plain creepy content that got a huge platform boost thanks to Trump and Bannon's campaign collaboration.

By the way I have never seen any anti semantic, articles on the Britbart website. As far as homophobic, obviously they must not be aware of Milo.

It seems they don't realize that nobody cares what they say anymore. In fact, if they are saying one thing, you can count on the truth being the opposite. I wonder if they realize just how stupid they look.

We hold a social event most years during a HUGE trade show event in Chicago, coming up in a couple weeks. Our base hotel and where we've done this the last couple years is the Trump Hotel, generally looked at as a great location!

We just received the following message from a prospect we'd invited there. Only changes I made were to remove the names and specialty.

quote:
Sorry to say we find that we cannot in good conscious attend your event. I understand that you may have chosen this venue possibly last year and may not have predicted how racist and bigoted the recent presidential election campaign would become. Me and my physicians were deeply offended by some of the statements that were made by president elect Trump and at this time cannot ethically walk into a Trump facility. If the rhetoric does not soften, I hope your company takes this into account when you schedule your event next year.

It is obvious the media is attempting to undermine Trump already. Don't let them sucker you into it when they take a quote out of context,or question his appointments.

Victim status is a one way street, and an exclusive club. It is segregated, and one race is not allowed.

My. The progress we have made, eh? If you listen to what they say, racism is ok, it just needs to favor her race, and her race only. That is acceptable racism. Otherwise, she is a professional victim.

With friends like this.... Michael Savage attacks Trump over Chief of Staff appointment. Savage apparently thinks this whole thing is about himself, and what his appointments would be. So he's offended if Trump departs from what he has determined to be best for the nation.

"It looks like Jeb Bush won."

If you are going to say something that stupid, I'm glad that what you think Trump should do is NOT what he thinks he should do.
