Lot of pessimists in my office. Majority, I assume voted Trump, but weren't confident in it. Did my part to try to steer them to optimism. Working from home today & tomorrow, curious what the mood is like there today. The Enemy's gate is down.

The meltdown on lefty radio, MSNBC, Facebook, Twitter, etc. is absolutely glorious. There are too many outlets to keep up with. Thanks to Para, I've set my DVR for The View as well. Today is a fine day, gentlemen.

The Soros documents reveal hundreds of millions of dollars being poured into the effort to transform the legal and media environment touching on elections. One document notes that poverty-alleviation programs are being de-emphasized for this new effort. It states: "George Soros has authorized U.S. Programs to propose a budget of $320 million over two years, with the understanding that the annual budget for U.S. Programs will be $150 million beginning in 2013." Soros documents show funding of $250,000 for the North Carolina State Conference of the NAACP before the group then sued to stop the use of voter ID in North Carolina. Other groups in North Carolina that were on the funding documents include: "Action Institute NC - $75,000 over one year . . . North Carolina Latino Coalition - $75,000 . . . New World Foundation - $300,000 over one year . . . North Carolina Fair Share Education Fund - $75,000 . . . School for Creative Activism - $75,000." The funding documents name groups which received in excess of $500,000 each year from Soros. They include: "Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Center for American Progress, Advancement Project, Center for Community Change, Brennan Center." Three of the largest recipients are engaged in litigation and strategic communications denying voter fraud and seeking to transform the rules of elections. Soros-funded groups even swoop in after ligation to push narratives to voters about the results of Soros-funded litigation. One leaked document shows $158,000 was spent on this activity in Texas alone: "Texas Election Protection ($158,000): The Opportunities Fund grant supported last-minute voting rights work in the state of Texas to ensure that: (1) registered voters were aware of new voter identification requirements; and (2) advocates were able to collect data showing the continued discriminatory impact of voter ID laws. As a result of this grant, the 1-866-OUR-VOTE hotline received a record number of calls—up 45% from 2010." This is a movement that spares no expense. Soros money specifically targeted voter mobilization efforts of racial minority groups that exhibit racially polarized voting patterns and can be counted on to support Democrats. For example, the "Democracy and Power Fund" was established to "inspire the participation of people of color, immigrants, young people, and low income people . . . . The fund invests in multi-issue advocacy, organizing and voter participation organizations that work at the federal, state and local level to expand access to democracy and build power for lasting social justice and systemic change." This distinct effort from all of the other Soros activities involved over $15,000,000 in just the three-year period from 2010-2012 (dollars named below in millions). ____________________

Watching MSNBC this morning, they had to bring in conservative analysts to explain to their anchors what happened. It was not cursory, it was simply beyond their ability to understand. The Real Clear Politics pollster tried to say they got it right, insisting they were within the margin of error and pointing out that Clinton may have actually won the popular vote. It was laughable. I don't paraphrase Karl Rove often, but Trump may have won only 48% of the vote, but he won 100% of the Presidency. The celebrity reactions are particularly entertaining. They are evidently trying to stir up a protest and no one is joining. The most enjoyable for me came from Piers Morgan of all people: Piers Morgan@piersmorgan "All those fawning self-interested celebrities really worked out for Hillary." 11:17 PM - 8 Nov 2016 · Manhattan, NY, United States

The last post I wrote was that i was going to sleep with a pleasant surprise awaiting me when I woke up. I was more of a neverHilary than an enthusiastic Trumper, but he and the GOP pulled off the trifecta of the White House, House AND Senate! So I wake up to my wife telling me to stay off Facebook, if I couldn't restrain from any gloating....get to work and scan the multiple pages of this thread to see what I missed...then since I have a poor grasp of posting/embedding videos, I would post the following(or hope someone else will ): 1-the insurance commercial clip where the gal says" then you breakout into your happy dance". 2-one the clips from RED 2, where the characters state: "bet you(I) didn't see that coming" 3-or the evergreen from Conan the Barbarian about "what is good in life?" Hell of ride folks, and to paraphrase Al Pacino, it just getting started! Bill Gullette

I tell you, I am fucking fired up. I don't feel conciliatory, I just do not feel it. Wanna know how I feel this morning? No quarter, that's how I feel. No mercy, no quarter. It's bad enough that we have to clean up this shameful mess. I don't have to act like I want to "work with you" on any of this. Just get out of the way, and for God's sake, just once in your whining life, shut the fuck up. There's your Goddamned conciliation, leftists. Yeah, sure, I extend my hand to you... ...middle finger first.

http://time.com/4564143/hillar...n-concession-speech/ live stream scheduled to start at 1030 It will be the first time that the former presidential candidate will publicly address her staff and supporters following her unexpected defeat to Donald Trump. Clinton had been expected to give the speech at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City during the night, when her loss became clear. Instead, John Podesta, her campaign manager, said there would be no announcement until the morning. ****************** very cowardly not to address her supporters last night Maybe she didn't even have a concession speech

I fell the same, but the question is will Ryan and McConnell buy in. One of the first tests will be whether McConnell will employ the Nuclear Option in the Senate like Reid boasted. Regardless, elections have consequences. Get ready to see Obama's executive orders torn to shreds. Funny how that we have that admonishment about being conciliatory and cooperative. I don't remember that from the last 8 years beginning with BHO's "I won" and Harry Reid's obstructionism, ad nauseum.... Bill Gullette
