For a minute there I thought "A coyote" was a new name synonymous with "drug mule" ![]()

On rare occasions, I’ve seen coyotes in Golden Gate Park and in the Presidio. Up here in Sonoma County, they’re more frequently sighted. I saw a red fox last year—another rare sight. No-one knows the exact count, but it's said there are at least 100 coyotes living inside city limits.

With all the raccoons running around in the Richmond and Sunset, those coyotes will never go hungry. Believe it or not, I live in SW Florida, and we have lots of wild life people don't expect to see, like bears, and coyote, Since hurricane Ian and most residents losing their fences, as well as it now starting mating season coyotes are a serious concern. I live in a residential area, and on a main street and see them all the time; thank God fences are starting to be replaced and repaired and we can have a bit more safety. They were here first, and we are building on their territory, people need to be more vigilant here now.
