Nope, not where we live.

The most striking building in the area that could qualify isn't nearby, but is in Tacoma. Stadium High School could pass for a castle, I think...

The Kentucky Castle in Versailles, KY just outside of Lexington, KY. Not really in the neighborhood as it is 120 or so miles from the farm but I have to drive past it on the way to COSTCO.

I lived about 5 miles away from this castle while it was being built. I now am about 15 miles away.

I was going to post up Castle Gwynn but you beat me to it. I remember passing by over the years as he built it one piece at a time. Definitely a labor of love. I'm on the West side of Murfreesboro about 15 minutes from it.

The city I grew up in had this, and my buddies lived 2 blocks from it:

There were several others in town, but that was the big one. We also used to go to this one pretty frequently...either rode bikes there or took the train and hiked the forests around it:

The town I work in now has this...not quite the same, lol.

About a mile from my house is the 12th Century Leixlip Castle. Been there a few times.

Lots of others within driving distance.

Not quite as extravagant as some of the ones posted so far, but this one does have crenelated battlements.

Is that a Vanderbilt mansion? There is one in Hyde Park, NY right up the road from where I went to school that looks just like that.

Funny story about that Orlando Disneyworld castle:

It was modeled after IIRC the famous Schloss Neuschwanstein in Germany which I had gone to while over there, it's huge and tall and way up on a big hill so it's pretty impressive.

We went to DW in 2019 and it was the first time ever for me, I walk up to the castle and was shocked that it's only like a 2/3 scale model if that and not on a hill, here I had thought all my life that was a full-size castle like Neuschwanstein!

Of sorts. There's a cedar shingle cottage on the shore that has a tower and definitely was constructed to create a castle-like look.

I was just going to post this. It's probably 8-10 miles from me. When my son was small. He always knew we were getting close to Nana's house. Cause he'd see the Helicopter at the Army Surplus store that used to be down the street. Then we'd turn almost right across from the castle. Big Grin
