Out here in the sticks the "neighborhood extends just a wee bit farther than up in the big city.

This is two miles from me.

SigForum clubhouse? I'm in for $3.47 Paypal F&F, who's with me?

We all know the uniform so it won't be difficult to weed out the unwanted guests.

The place looks kind of old and drafty, so I'm guessing the uniform-of-choice will be the Unitard rather than assless chaps?

Nice looking digs. The porch could use a spruce up, but seems like a great place. Can we put a range out back?

I'm guessing there's a reason there's no interior pictures. Looks like the perfect setting for a remake of the 80s movie starring Tom Hanks and Shelley Long, The Money Pit.

Yes. Crenellations and a tower no less. It was a Parade of Homes entry a few years ago. Silly design in and out.

Well, I live in a castle. My old condominium is filled with plazas, columns, arches, fountains, and covered passageways. Surrounded by walls to keep out the attacking hordes. I walk three miles most days for exercise. When it’s rainy I just do laps around my condo. The covered passageways keep me dry.

Too many historic homes and buildings in Marquette Co. to list, but this one has a connection to me, sorta:
Amos Rogers Harlow House.
Amos and two other dudes are the original settlers of Marquette and he later did very well for himself. His final residence downtown has been beautifully restored. My connection to it is.... My landlord lives in it!

I've spoken with four locals that were inside in the 1950's .

They said that back then, it was opulent and had crazy fine wood and stone work and magical.

LMAO. If you told me that was a brothel I would have believed you. 7000+ sq ft, 6 bedrooms, and 2 whole bathrooms?

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone
