She'll make that in endorsement money, when Clark comes to town teams have to move the event from the small arenas they normally play in to ones that house big time numbers,

Good for her bringing in new viewers to the sport, and shame on the WNBA for letting other grind on her because they are jealous of a new player getting all the attention.

I don't watch it, neighbor does and he's infatuated with her ability, the stupidity of her coach, and her team mates inability to catch a pass.

After searching for additional information, and coming up with nothing,
Seems I've been duped with false information.

Plus I guess I wanted it to happen for her

The WMBA just signed a 200 Million a year TV contract.

We will see if the networks ever make any money on it.

Let's watch how the ratings TANK for the rest of the playoffs. The racist players (finger nail eye-rake of Caitlin Clark in Game 1) and the crooked officials in Game 2 along with $#!tty coaching from Sides, have eliminated the Fever and CC from the playoffs.

I haven't watched the NBA in years but is there this much blatant racism in the men's game?

Before this season the only WNBA player I ever heard of was the one that got arrested in Russia.

The last few months, the Caitlin Clark highlights and lowlights of her being assaulted on the court have been hard to miss.

She still couldn’t get her team to the playoffs so ratings will drop like a rock.

Hope she makes a crap pile of money and lives a long happy life after her playing days are over.

I'm pretty sure she got her team to the playoffs. They lost 2 straight to Connecticut and are out in the first round. Not one of the starters on her team had ever played in the playoffs according to the announcers last night.

I was introduced to basketball on TV during the rise of MJ. I got to see all his games in both three peats. It was more than just a sport at the time he turned it into high drama.

When he left and rejoined as a wizards owner/player, I had already tuned out of the NBA.

It's funny that about 2 months ago I started watching Indiana Fever games and it was entertaining. Not because the quality of their skill is good, it's not compared to high school boys, but I found myself feeling that same drama watching Caitlyn that I had watching Jordan when he started his career. There is this desire to watch a player dominate and become a legend of the sport and this is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of that which I haven't been for some 30 years.

When the Fever lost last night, I'm sure 90 percent of the new viewers will slowly fall off before the finals even get here, I know I won't be tuning in until next year to see if the Fever and Caitlyn can progress further.

Viewership will certainly take a huge nosedive. This is not entertainment. It is a real life basketball version of the old dystopian Rollerball movie of gladiatorial violence.

Remember when folks joked about the NFL having too many thugs and criminals. Well the WNBA is populated by black lunatic amazon lesbians who relish committing assaults on the hardwood. These are augmented by a commissioner and refs apparently too afraid to address things for fear of being called racists.

Caitlyn Clark should be celebrated by the league. Instead she is vilified and assaulted. A pox on their house!

Most of these women thought they were the elite of women's basketball. Then CC, a player with genuine hoop skills arrives and destroys their pipedreams. Even worse she's white and straight. So they lash out and try to drive her away. Until the vast majority of the league can make 90% of their layups and actually catch a perfect assist pass, they can't be called "professional".

This an example of the two best teams in the WNBA in the Finals. And they want to be paid more money.

Pretty disapointing. In my opinion and never having watched a BWNBA game but enjoyed some of Caitlin's games this year, Clark should have kept her yap closed instead of excusing this despicable and dangerous on court behavior.

Not that I’ve ever cared to watch the WNBA, I really felt like Caitlin Clark had a chance to do good things for the league. Now that she’s come out and made this apology for being white, I’m going back to giving zero shits.
