TBPC, I am from Iowa and if you are, there is no way that you could not notice Caitlin, she is and has been literally everywhere here all at once. We do not have a professional team, which I am glad of, so college sports are everything and especially so when there is a stand out athlete. Caitlin is such a stand out athlete, she often makes moves that leave the others on the court wondering what just happened. She is well conditioned and plays with an intensity for extended periods which leaves many lacking. If they make a tactical mistake she will take advantage of it. They set with their legs too wide she will bounce pass to an open teammate between their legs, They set up in a position that is not easy to move from and she will take a step back jump shot and when she is "on" she is making shots from distances few others on the court can match. She reads the court better than almost every other player out there and makes her teammates look better because of it with assists. She draws fans because she makes the game more exciting when she plays, And on top of all that she is a decent human being and acknowledges and respects the fans that support her, something that has been often lacking amongst others in college ball or professional sports.

It certainly appears that she's the GOAT. The only sport I try to watch (but don't change my plans for) is Ohio State football. And I'm afraid that will dwindle since they are essentially pros now.

I missed the best Fever game of the season today.

They beat the lynx.

Caitlyn is different. Her moves are faster. Her passes snappier and more daring. She’s more energetic than others on the court. And…….she’s humble. She’s different.

You got that right and she is helping her team mates shine brighter.

I tried to watch two
Other
Games today, and the difference is substantial.

Have you noticed the refs are not the best either ?

I set my DVR to record Fever games because I was curious about Caitlyn. She is great, but not many others are even good. Last game I sort of watched I think the Fever had something like 10 turnovers in a quarter. I’ve seen lots of beautiful passes by Caitlyn that her teammates apparently did not.

And I agree that the refs are substandard.

I played basketball on teams from the 6th grade until I was about 30. I loved BB and being from the Baton Rouge area I was a huge fan of Pete Maravich and LSU.
The Maravich family lived across the street from my cousin and they were good friends. And I used to go to Maravich home with my cousins. Mrs. Maravich told me one time that I had knees like Pete. I told her that was all I got LOL.
But since BB doesn't have any rules anymore I can't watch it all I see are the violations.

It can be very very painful watching youth basketball these days because of the NBA.
You can tell the kids who watch the NBA doing all this garbage walking and then getting pissed when they actually get called for it.

I just learned that the ball size is different than the NBA basketball.

Why?
No reason

Assume it’s because their hands are smaller.

Shirley,
The diameter of the hoop is the same as the NBA . I hope

I.m.o. ,they need to use the same size and weightbasket balls.

When you consider how miniscule the two are ,
It's hard to imagine it would make almost any difference.

Totally get what you mean. I’m not really into the WNBA either. I follow sports more for the thrill of the game, and the constant news about the WNBA just doesn’t grab me. I get that everyone’s into different things, and this one’s just not on my radar.

It's prejudiced white lesbians, too. Cheryl Reeve the US womens' Olympic coach snubbed Clark by not supporting her selection to the team. Frankly, it worked out better since Clark got a break and has returned invigorated to league play.

There is a noticable difference in The Fever team, it looks to me like they are working together much better.

I have never watched a professional basketball game of any kind . I have no plans to . CC needs to make as much money as she can as quickly as she can . Those feral savages are going to take her out one day . She'll go down with a blown out knee and it will be over .
