I’m ready to be blasted for this but I want to know if anyone else thinks that the praise that Pam Bondi gives Trump is over the top. It reminds me of someone giving thanks before a meal.
I have no reason to complain about the job she is doing, it just sounds like ass kissing every time she speaks of the president.

My starting point is to have faith and patience in the appointees selected by President Trump.

In that context, however, it seems to me she is very camera-eager. That has some concerns attached. My approach for now is "wait and see". I want results, there are some promising signs of results in the last week.

We will see.

Perhaps you were much happier with Jeff Sessions?

With all the crimes being uncovered and lawlessness throughout govt and industry, this woman is strangely quiet. She's Eliot Ness thrust into bootlegging Chicago and, unlike Ness, she's hiding in her office.

Still, better than Jeff Sessions, William Barr, Sally Yates, or Rod Rosenstein!

I do like Matthew Whitaker who briefly served as acting U.S. Attorney General during the nomination process of Bill Barr. Whitaker now serves as Trump's United States ambassador to NATO.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Trump seems to like her. So I am good with that.
And yes the previous ones listed sucked big time as far as I am concerned.

Not only Pam Bondi, but I believe all have a mandate to be visible, dynamic, engaged and on point.

It does come across as "camera whoring" and "roll playing", but we have had so many for so long that dis similar and were simply phony and deceitful.

Not everyone can be please with so many different people in these positions.

But look at what they accomplish and beyond the appearances.

I also think part of this is Trump's "Art of the War", where he is doing things that keep his opposition on their heels.

Ignore ALL the news that is negatively focused and sounds like the GDC's swill. Because most all of it is moral breaking and emotionally driven.

We are in a fight to see the Columbia righted and able to push through this storm, stay the course and don't give in to fear.

It is going to look bad if you focus at flashing lightning, waves over the bow and the unsteady deck.

It took a long time to get to this point, and we've only been in this for 3 months.

I was thinking more like some Hip Hop "artist" thanking her entourage at a music award. Razz

She is no more visible than Stephen Miller, who is also very outspoken and much more forceful in his assertions.

I don't mind her being quiet about all the misdeeds being exposed by DOGE. Let's hope she is building a case against those involve, and wanted to do so quietly so as not to blow it before indictments are handed out.

Sometimes I wish Trump would not reveal so much to the public. Our adversaries watches Fox too. If he tells the American people about his intentions on the tariffs, then those like Chy-na with the means will just tough it out just to spoil his plans.

Results are what matter, I could care less what personality she has, as long as she gets the job done.

Understood that he's already got a job, but if Ms. Bondi were to no longer be our AG, I think I'd be happy to see Mr. Whitaker in that role. He seems to be a take-no-crap sort of fellow.

God bless America.

Oh I’m definitely waiting for Pam to drop a bomb one day with a bunch of arrests.

Side question, Caroline Leavitt teased us a few weeks ago about something big coming. Is it still under wraps? I haven’t heard anything.

Yep, this.

Who gives a shit if she holds a Trump pep rally each time she speaks? Goldilocks conservatives, that’s who. We have weak conservative leaders because the party is full of conservatives that are shallow.

Did you notice that the left never whined about Merrick Garland? Their only problem with him is he wasn’t loading Conservatives on rail cars fast enough. Not that he said kind words about Biden. Shit, they only cared about winning.

As to the ridiculous house cat comment, tell me about the number and scope of cases taken on by the AUSAs in your area today. And while you are at it, what were they prosecuting 4 years ago. Please be specific.

I think she’s doing an OK job—just OK. As someone above said, I would prefer someone like Matt Whittaker.

I am concerned that she may be committing the error of appearing prejudicial when she comments on cases, such as Mangione’s and the like. Certainly Obama used to step in it frequently saying someone or other was guilty, and that can be argued to be a tacit order to the DOJ to prosecute. Obviously I’m not an attorney, I would appreciate comment by someone like ChelliM on this issue.

No she does not come across as an ass kisser to me. But heck she has been on the job for about three months now, giver her some time.

She has mad major improvements at the ATF already including firing of some of the top ranked gun haters over there and made it very clear the priority is no longer targeting law abiding gun owners and FFLs for bullshit. Four Boxes Diner/Mark Smith has a lot of videos about this.

Hey at least she didn't throw Trump under the bus almost immediately after fake news MSM brought up "Russian collusion" and hand the keys over to Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein saying "go for it" resulting in a multi year witch hunt spending tens of millions of dollars that found zip/zero/nada while causing President Trump tremendous grief/wasting valuable time like the last guy from Alabama.

I have faith in Trump's judgement in his high level picks and understand that total loyalty was a must for him above all else.

I’m with Jones on this one. I see a lot of conservatives who want to judge more by style than results. Goldilocks is damn right. I think Trump learned a lot in the last four years and I trust him to see this through with the right people. I don’t see any need for me to personally start publicly stating doubts about him or his administration 90 days in.
