Get Off My Lawn

Yes, it is not only Bondi, but Noem, Hegseth, Vance, Musk, etc. Get in front of the press, it is OUR turn to control the narrative in front of the media, to expose the biased reporters in front of an audience, to take advantage of social media, etc. Conservatives in the past used to moan and complain about establishment Republicans being too polite, stoic, timid, RINOish in regards to media exposure and now that we have people who are more aggressive and out front, some are calling this "media whoring" or similar. And as far as ass-kissing, isn' this what we wanted, people who are loyal to a fault to Trump and MAGA, super excited in their work to try and do things that are difficult, against incredible odds? This certainly was not in the first Trump term with the backstabbers and malcontents. quote: Originally posted by grumpy1: No she does not come across as an ass kisser to me. I agree.

| Almost all of the replies have focused on Pam’s performance. I’m good with her performance so far, and I’m confident she will continue to do a good job. My, (not sure what to call it: issue, gripe, frustration) is with the praise she gives Trump when speaking, and the way she keeps stressing “to the fullest extent of the law”. Slow and deliberate. It’s almost as if she’s speaking to a group of kids, or she’s really trying to sell it. I understand everyone is gonna talk nice about the boss especially in front of the boss. Respect and professionalism is mandatory, but to me it sounds overdone. Maybe it’s just me? That’s not out of the realm of possibility. |

| Speaking of results, here are some: https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...a-ice-raids-n2656145 quote: During a four-day operation, ICE agents joined Florida State Police to arrest nearly 800 illegal aliens as part of the first phase of Operation Tidal Wave. Individuals arrested include a convicted Colombian murderer, alleged MS-13 and 18th Street gang members, and a Russian spy with an Interpol Red Notice for manslaughter.
Among those arrested was an alleged MS-13 gang member who had illegally re-entered the U.S. three times and was convicted of felony reentry. Another detained individual is a known or suspected member of the 18th Street gang, who had reportedly reentered the U.S. illegally twice. I don't care what anybody thinks she looks like. |

It’s definitely you. You see, I spent five years assigned to the feds. Three years as a Task Force Officer (TFO). A TFO has the same powers as a Special Agent. The first couple of years, we burned it up doing solid work. Taking violent thugs off the board for DECADES. Then, Merrick Garland came into office. And it became a noticeable pattern. The AUSA’s only were prosecuting J6ers and child porn cases. Now, child porn is horrible. But, all the defendants were of a certain age and race. Violent gang bangers? Not interested in the least. I had a case on a banger who was a prior federal inmate who was on supervised release after serving 85 percent on a 15 year bit. While on supervised release, he pulled a drive by with a stolen gun. I caught him driving away from the scene. His sentencing guidelines would have put him away for the rest of his life. AUSA? Not interested. He didn’t fit the case that the Garland DOJ was looking for. They declined prosecution on him. He got 3 years state time to which he served out awaiting trial. Today? AUSA’s are taking every violent crime, gun case, large scale doper, and illegal they can get get their hands on. And asking for more. Tell me, what is Bondi doing wrong here? And what would someone else do differently? And what are your expectations? |

I can't help wondering if any of that is going on. |

| jljones, first off thanks for doing the work you do. I don’t have the temperament to deal with those idiots. I don’t know how to say this so that it’s clear. I am not complaining about her job performance. She is doing exactly what everyone expects her to do.
I am talking about how she sounds when she speaks. Speech. Not performance. Why do you keep asking me why I disapprove of her performance? Honestly man, slow down and read what I’m asking here. |

| I read just fine. You are worried about superficial things. It’s the same kind of “mean tweets” concerns that have been around before by people that can’t be happy with winning. |

| No sir you did not read it correctly. I asked if anyone else thought that she comes off as an ass kisser. It’s pretty apparent by now that nobody else agrees that she comes off that way or they would have chimed in. That’s fine. I’m not worried about a thing. It’s just how she sounds to me. I happen to be thrilled with all the winning. Her and all of the Cabinet members. It’s like Christmas morning to me.
I can see I touched a nerve but stop insinuating things that I didn’t make a statement to. If you don’t agree, bow out. I haven’t disrespected you or the DOJ. |

| 400M, so to be clear, you find Bondi distasteful because she is too much Trump? That she, as the AG, is too much following Trump's plan? The mandate we all voted for? Are you offended by her tone? Be honest.

I think Trump learned a lot in the last four years and I trust him to see this through with the right people. I don’t see any need for me to personally start publicly stating doubts about him or his administration 90 days in.
I read recently (cannot recall where) that this Administration is using a TV approach to announcing their initiatives and progress. In this age of screens vs print, it is certainly a way to stay "visible" to the public. |
