"because it’s a talented white girl bringing attention to the sport and another white girl standing up for her on and off the court..."

You missed the point where they're both straight.

I think she became noteworthy only after joining CC. She played elsewhere for some time before. Without CC SC would have possibly languished unknown for her career.

I sense CC has a love/hate response. Loves not being the only one. Hates that she has been surpassed in non basketball activities.

I hope that SC becomes a valid and longstanding star of today’s stage and screen. bball is her entre but she is the real deal.

“DiJonai” after getting ejected from the game posted on social media “white privilege” then tagged the Indiana Fever. The next day she claims it wasn’t aimed at Sophie or the Fever. Uh-huh. Hate whitey much bitch?

Cunningham was making a name for herself in Phoenix for several seasons prior to getting traded to Indiana.

I tried to watch a few WNBA games and I felt like I was watching a boys middle school game. The skill level wasn't much different only these were grown women; some players were pretty skilled, many lumbered up/down the court but a LOT of mouths were woofing and endless smack-talking.

The faster the WNBA goes bankrupt the better off everyone will be.

Royce White and Enes Freedom declare for the WNBA Draft.

At 6'8" 260 and 6'10" 250, they should be able to hold their own.

I don't agree that it's modern day roller derby marketing strategy.

Instead, I think it's liberalism 101. Having 2 successful white, heterosexual women sell tickets and generate interest really puts a damper on their black lesbian club. They'd rather fail than have white, straight women be the reason they succeed. That is the textbook insanity that is modern liberalism.

I agree with this. Axel Grease and Dijon Ace personify thug ball. WHITE PRIVILEGE!, lol.

Look at the video I posted above- game 5 of the Finals, five possessions, no baskets, just turnovers and airballs.

I could care less about the NBA.
I don’t follow it unless the Bulls make it to the finals, and the only reason I pay attention then is because another Bulls “celebration” (more like an actual Riot) would ensue.

The WNBA I care less about.
Someone out there wants to bring the WNBA into the mainstream more than anything else. YouTube, any sort of sports channels, news, social media… it’s ALWAYS there. Almost as if it was being jammed down my throat. And if I wanted to see chick drama Id turn on a soap opera.

Clark and Cunningham… yes, talented for their sport, seem to be doing a decent job of keeping level headed in their careers and personal lives.

I also think that they are targeted for being
- pretty good
- straight
- white
And maybe not in that order

I try to avoid this bullshit, but it always seems to be lingering right there… like a smudge on my glasses affecting my view of something better.

I would like to see the points per minute stat added to the giant list of stats.

It interesting how 10 people from the NBA comment on how the women's league could be fixed and start making double or triple the money .
But
No one is willing to make the move to get it done.
Then reap the giant rewards.
