I know that this isn't a popular view on the SIG Forum, but I am Ukrainian by heritage and feel very strongly for my ancestors. My wife is 100% Ukrainian. So take this as you will, but I hope that you will realize that we either fight Putin in Ukraine, or we fight him in a NATO country or on our shores.

I've looked at a lot of Ukraine / Russia stuff in the last year and am convinced that Russia military is sorted strictly for defensive purposes.

US warmongers played a long game of baiting Russia via Ukraine & unfortunately corrupt Ukraine politicians are feeding their own men to the wolves there for $$. Tongue-in-cheek comments from Medvedev notwithstanding, there is no way Putin has any design on US, Europe or even the Baltics.

I am Ukrainian (by heritage) as well...NOT another DIME should be wasted there! All we are doing is prolonging the war, which would be fought to the last Ukrainian if some had their way! An entire generation of military age Ukrainians are being sacrificed in this ill conceived endeavor. It needs to end, and the sooner the better!

We aren't going to be fighting Pootie in Alaska, NATO countries or anywhere else. Sorry.

All that money responsibly spent (and I know that is a big ask) could help US citizens and be much better use of the money.

Who is inhibiting you from posting your position in that thread? There have been plenty of dissenters in there. In case you missed it, see para's post above.

Voice your opinions in those threads. If you don't like the responses you receive, then that's just the way it is.
