Bumper crop of tomatoes this year. Took down giant oak near my garden with three squirrel nests in it. I get to eat some tomatoes now.

Been eating BLTs every other day pretty much. No kitchen to cook in as I am mid kitchen remodel. Been giving everyone I know tomatoes.

Ended up rewiring most of kitchen. No switch or outlet is in its original location and I added a few outlets and under cabinet lights.

Those maters look amazing!

My first full-sized garden tomatoes came in during May (gardening season starts a little sooner in Texas).

Nope cheese with mayo under it and onion are added, plus one twist of peppermill.

This is my BLT, not yours.

This is my BLT

I love BLTs, but I substitute a fried egg for the tomato, a slice of cheese for the lettuce, cajun mustard for mayo, then add about 8 Jalapeño slices and toast the bread.

I call it a Victory Sammich. Wink

Then you "love Victory Sammiches", not BLTs.

A BLT ccontains bacon, tomato, and lettuce only. Adding anything else makes it a different sandwich.

I was finally able to score some homegrown tomatoes Monday. I didn't grow a garden this year, so I have to rely on craft, cunning.

The heavy rain we had all spring and almost drought conditions for almost a month have really hurt the tomatoe crop.

That said, I was able to get ahold of eight medium sized tomatoes and I have had BLT's everyday!

I like mine with cheese and pickles. So, I guess a BLTCP(?) Smile

I just hope that I will be able to come up with more tomatoes soon. My stach is running low. Frown

Nah, it started life as a BLT, it remains a BLT.

Don't get mad, don't judge me cuz they're beautiful.

Even Skins gots some cheese on his BLT, and an onion, and Mayonaise. It's still a BLT.

Love me a Victory-BLT-Sammich.

Ahhhhh, real tomatoes versus the crap they try and pass off as tomatoes down here. God do I long for real tomatoes.

Tomatoes are coming on nice here. Had some great ones for burgers and sammiches recently.

Do you peel them? I do.
