Vanity plates? You need to live in UK, where people can pay tens of thousands of pounds to get a plate that has some relevance to them.

The ultimate 'look at me' thang. IMO.

They're only $30/year, here in Michigan. And, even with that, I'm debating whether it's worth it just to have an easy-to-remember tag.

One of my past times in stop and go traffic is figuring out vanity plates. I pooh pooh the obvious like "Bob's BMW." The only one I remember is one I kept seeing around the neighborhood was pretty clever: LQQK AGN

My father did the same. My concern was that we have a fairly unique last name. Back in the 1990s you could find where he lived by just opening a phone book.

Been running these for years without problems. Matter of fact they garner a lot of smiles and quite a few gals have come up to me when I park the sled to comment. Never a bad word.
