I replied no, but that’s because the dog pooping yard is separate from the people yard. The dogs do play in the people yard, but after they’ve used their yard.

As for the goat dogs (Anatolian / Great Pyrenees crosses that live out with the goats to keep them from becoming mountain lion or coyote chow), nobody picks up after them, but if get over the electric fence into their pen you risk of stepping on goat pellets is much higher than of finding one of their “land mines”.

Not a dog person, but a contractor. I've told customers to reschedule when the area was ready for work to commence.

That is some rude ass behavior. Another one I love is when I need to look at someone's electrical panels and they've piled the contents of both of their deceased parents basements directly in front of the electrical panel. I also left houses because they were too disgusting inside.

My dog poops in a small part of the yard that is on the garage side of the house and not near anywhere people go, there's stepping stones along the side of that lawn to get to the front of the house......so I just leave it.

6 acres. Border Collie. Trained to “squat” away from the lawn and general traffic in the yard. Nothing to find or clean up. Many dogs can learn this.

One of my customers today was a Brit, she was pissed about neighbors dogs crapping in her yard (but picking it up). I explained to her there is public right of way across the portion of her to street. She said that's not the case in GB. I asked her what about London or other cities. She said the build small walls between properly and public sidewalk.

She was fun to talk to, hubby anti Brexit, her pro. Even being a Brit, she agreed with me more philosophy than most of my American neighbors.

I was blown away with their tax rates and health care waits (3+ months for sons hernia surgery).

In the end of conversation I told her she was an in the closet American. She believed in smaller government, free speech, benefits of capitalistic medicine, personal freedoms.

All kinds of thread drift, but Very cool convo.

Yes. I have three dogs and is wrong to leave all those land mines out there. As long as I know they are coming we will sweep the yard.

I take my dog to the neighbors yard to do her business.

No, really I have to take her out on a lead, as I have no fence. There is an area in the back yard that is the "potty spot". That's where she goes and it's out of the way of everyone. I clean up every few days.

I don’t leave shit in my yard so it’s not something I am ever that concerned with. I bag it before I go to bed every night so the yard and mulch where the k9 does its’ business stays clean.

I do have a quarterly pest control service and I’ll double check the area before they come but generally it’s of little concern. I’ve been to people’s homes with dogs and shit is everywhere in their yard. They don’t understand why I don’t want to return there. Sorry I don’t want to step in it and my Mal actually gets quite irritated with it as well.

I loathe dog parks and hadn’t gone in over 10 years due to idiot owners, none of the dogs being trained whatsoever, etc. We go by the local one, newly built this year, and same thing. Dipshit owners, no training, and dog shit literally everywhere. I mean there are bags there provided free by the city but they can’t be bothered to clean up their dog’s own shit in a public place. Couldn’t imagine what their yard looks like if they even have one.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Dog's POV:

"So, let me get this straight. You go sticking your foot in my toilet, rude as that is, and then have the audacity to bitch about the shit on your paws for doing such a thing?"
"I don't have much choice in this gig. I am either at the end of my rope (literally) or confined to the "bathroom" with chain link or wooden walls, and limited places to try and hide the best part of some Alpo remnants, and you, with all the choices in the universe, choose to make this your homage? Yeah, shit happens. And looks like it is happening on the bottom of your miss-stepping in my world."

"Not feeling the blues for you, really not feeling it at all."

Signed;
-Your best friend
("cause that's another thing you hang around my neck...")

I happen to be blessed with 2 dogs who think that eating poop is a good thing. Roll Eyes
(I think the 7 months older female taught the male pup this shitty behavior)

I clean it up TWICE a day.
