Mike Johnson Helped Save an Establishment Republican Who Voted to Impeach Donald Trump House Speaker Mike Johnson spent time, money, and resources campaigning in Washington State for the reelection of Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) despite the fact that Newhouse voted to impeach former President Donald Trump, now again the president-elect of the United States. Newhouse’s seat, amazingly, was not in danger of falling into Democrat hands so Johnson cannot legitimately argue that he did so to protect the majority for House Republicans. Johnson himself has not replied to multiple requests for comment from Breitbart News sent through his advisers Hogan Gidley and Taylor Haulsee on why he campaigned for Newhouse in October just two weeks before the election, despite the fact that Newhouse voted to impeach Trump and Democrats stood zero chance of taking the seat. The fact that the Speaker himself is refusing to answer questions or provide commentary on this is troubling at best.
The hypocrisy and the level of double-standard chutzpah is off the charts with that lawyer, Mark Zaid, in the video that Para posted on the previous page is off the charts!
He’s belly-aching about “Lawfare” ops that PDJT has carried out on his ‘political enemies’ over the last fours years?!
Are you fucking kidding me?!
I don’t think this asshole hears what is coming out of its mouth!!

Republicans Have Won Enough Seats to Keep Control of the House
On Monday evening, 7:13pm EST, Decision Desk HQ projected that Republicans will retain control of the House of Representatives as a result of the 2024 elections. Republicans also seized control of the Senate last Tuesday, thanks to Sen-elect Bernie Moreno's win in Ohio after he unseated Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown.

Rep. Mike Waltz from Florida has been selected by Trump to be his National Security Advisor. An ex-Green Beret, he was elected to the U.S. House Florida 6th District in 2018 replacing Ron DeSantis. The district is solid red, no problem of getting another Republican rep to take Waltz' seat.
And yes, Republicans reach 218, Democrats 209 (Decision Desk HQ) and there are still 8 close races, with Republicans leading in a number of them, including Alaska, and CA, safe to say we can get a few more.

Donald Trump will name Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, sources tell DailyMail.com.
Rubio, who was elected to the Senate in 2010, is considered a foreign policy hawk and will lead Trump's prowess on the world stage.
He ran for president unsuccessfully in 2016 against Trump in a crowded field of GOP hopefuls.
Rubio serves as the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee and has stumped for Trump on the campaign trail in recent weeks.
Rubio's selection comes as Trump is working overtime to shape his future Cabinet.
The president-elect named top immigration adviser Stephen Miller as his deputy chief of staff for policy earlier Monday as his administration zeros in on an unprecedented border crackdown.
Miller was the architect of Trump's immigration plan during his first term and will be on the frontlines of the president-elect's scheme to carry out the largest mass deportation in history.
The decision comes less than 24 hours after Trump picked former Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan as his border czar.
And Rep. Michael Waltz of Florida will serve as his National Security Advisor.
Waltz, a former Army Green Beret, has established himself as one of the foremost China hawks in the House and was selected following Trump's busy day of firming up his Cabinet.
Among the various China-related bills Waltz has co-sponsored are measures designed to lessen U.S. reliance on critical minerals mined in China. He's also known as a NATO skeptic amid its work during the war in Ukraine.
Waltz, like other advisors to the White House, would not require Senate confirmation as heads of departments do. Trump has already signaled he will bypass the Senate through recess appointments.
Trump had varying luck with four National Security Advisors during his first term in office.
Michael Flynn, H.R. McMaster, Robert O'Brien and John Bolton all served in the position.

No shit. Wow
From taunting him as "Little Marco" to trusting him with such grand responsibility.
There is no one like Donald Trump.
I cannot adequately convey to all of you how very happy I am, for our country and for all Americans. I am so proud these days.

Marco has been hanging in the shadows the last few years, but any time the question of President Trump came up, time and time again he would take Trump's side. I've had a good feeling about Rubio for awhile, but more importantly I trust Trump's judgment on his personnel choices more than ever this time around. I think he'll do great.
And being Hispanic, his ability to deal with Latin American countries and our immigration mess might also be on Trump's mind.

I like Marco Rubio, but I don't think he is strong enough to be Sec of State.
I guess Rubio will be the dutiful message carrier for President Trump.

This is a great point. I haven't thought of that angle.
I was hoping for Ric Grenell in that position. I've never been a big fan of Rubio. I just don't think he has the presence or the confidence for the job. Not only that, but SoS seems to be a stepping stone for the big job (that he wants) and I'd rather he not go against JD in a few years.

Desantis should name Gaetz as FL senator to replace Rubio. Send liberals into more meltdown.
