Count me in. Thanks!

Lots of memories from the generosity of the fellow members here, to the loss of members and all the flame outs in between. Congrats on 10,000 and here’s to 10,000 more.

As I already have a set, and your generous instant karma, don't include me either, but congrats on the milestone!!

Please include me.

My sad story involves what I went through when my lab died(Pal). I got so many responces I couldn't believe it. It was nice to know I wasn't the only person to feel that way, You were one of the people who posted.

I have also gotten some valuable advice along the way. Brad saved me $500.00 by giving me advice on my dishwasher. Several members sent me info on an airport situation at my house(still ongoing). Warhorse gave me a tip on MSP buybacks that I was able to use.

I don't post much but I am here often and somehow consider people who I have never met my friends.

Wow. That picture is sweet. Either I missed it when you showed or or I forgot. And nevermind that this is Rotndad's karma thread; he always thinks everything has to be about him.

ETA: I am also a recepient of Bre's skills. Man, the mind games I played with my boss who was pregnant at the time with Bre's handiwork was priceless. I had my boss thinking I was just being my snarky self talking about how I was learning how to knit to make gift for her kid. I gave her continuous stories about joining a knitting club, going to apply for workplace disability because I was getting carpal tunnel from knitting.

Then my boss's mind got blown when I did produce the knitted cap and coat for her baby in the colors she said she picked for the room. and the coat had a label that said "knitted by Rey."

I let her off the hook a few days later but her mind got blown again by the real story. Yes, many good people here willing to share their skills.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Please don’t include me in on your awesome karma, however do include me on your milestone. We truly have something special here at SF. I share your sentiments about our SF Family. With every family you know we have a few family members we get to roll our eyes and say, damn what happened to our gene pool in that branch? I as I post my opinions, feelings, experiences I do so with that in he back of my mind, how many eye rolls am I going to get.

Congratulations Rotndad and thank you for being my SF brother

Congrats on 10k.

What's touched me the most about this forum is the downright honest folks, who just want to be part of a great country, and how we all stand firm in our beliefs and what's right and wrong.

This is a unique group -- it's too bad that this little group of ours isn't actually a reflection of America, as a whole. But we're doing our part.

Congratulations on 10,000 posts. I recall when I reached 10,000 I was going to give a karma of work to be done by GGI--and that was the very time Bruce had his heart attack. I guess I'll wait for 15,000 now.

Please count me in, very nice Karma, and a big congratulations for your time on the Forum, and thank you for being so generous.

A quick story where I received many warm wishes from members... One day back in October 2015 I attended a service for a friend who had passed away. During the month prior to that my cat was suffering from diabetes and kidney failure. When I got home from the service I found my buddy unable to even get up and walk. Sadly I had to put him down that same day. So needless to say it was a bad day.
Thanks-

I still get a laugh out of “chack chack” and the story with it.

Tacfoley’s story about meeting the Duke of Edinburgh while he was still in the British Army made me laugh as well (perhaps he can tell it again). As for “chack chack,” I wish I had saved that one.

Congrats!

10,000 posts, wow. Congrats on this milestone! Reading your post about all that has happened here is an amazing reminder. I've been here for quite a few of those events. It amazes me that we have this family here that, like you said, will literally drop what they're doing, and help someone they've never met. Please include me, I would love to have one of these awesome pieces! Thank you Rotndad, and congrats again, I look forward to your next post, and many more.

WOW, I knew he was doing his 10k post karma, but I didn't realize I was going to be one of the people honored in it. I do believe the others referenced will probably recognize themselves, and I dare say that all of the above is true about each member mentioned (including those mentioned individually, as well as those generally referenced in the whole body).
This is truly a forum of unmatched caliber. (sorry, unintended play on words) Roll Eyes
But seriously, I've got to admit, one of my earliest posts was something feeling like an NFL style widow, having to compete with SigForum for air time, but after seeing the joy, and fulfillment Tony gets from his time here, I don't begrudge him his chillax time one bit.
Besides, as many of you are aware, my mother has been I'll for quite some time; and without The Forum, he would have been very much alone for many months. I'd like to thank you all for all yoh do to keep him company, and entertained, educated, and up to speed on politics, current events, history, and oh yeah, gun related issues. Razz

You truly are a great bunch.
Happy Rotndad 10k karma day. Cool

I'm with Rotndad what's your excuse.
