I'm sure it's this way in many states, but in AZ you can get hit by a bus on the way home from testing positive for Covid and it absolutely will be counted as a Covid death. My mom has been in the hospital since early Dec. for an ongoing infection from her fourth knee replacement. While there she caught Covid (she's fine now). Rest assured, hers is considered a breakthrough hospitalization. And if she dies of any cause whatsoever in the next 60 days, it's counted as a Covid death. Again, she's fine.

There are some damn good ones - but they are a becoming a rare breed.

In order for it to be on Lifetime, the dying guy would have to be a white male corporate executive who groped every nurse in the hospital and threatened to ruin each of them if they didn't sleep with him.

It is a hard time for ALL front line workers and educators to tell the truth. I see it every day! You need to swallow and regurgitate the PC BULLSSh!T or lose you job. I’ve seen so many educators that loved their job and do it well retire. If you cannot control your mouth you retire or go to an isolation area where you eventually will get FIRED. That's because many of the good ones are either leaving the profession on their own or have been forced out.

When I was in the hospital for a stroke eval a few months back I had a couple nurses express profound dissatisfaction with the job. That was rather disquieting.

I told one of them "If you're truly unhappy doing this you really should find something else to do. You'll spend about a quarter of your life working. Why spend a quarter of your life doing something that doesn't give you joy?"
