So I read a synopsis of the movie last night on The Movie Spoiler and it’s a complete left wing circlejerk just as I expected:


Noble Antifa demonstrators being suicide bombed by American flag waving MAGA types…CHECK

A Trump-like President in his third term (insinuating he’s seized control and eliminated the Consitutuon). Oh and he carpet bombs Americans…CHECK

A racist MAGA-type soldier executing non-Americans on the spot…CHECK


This movie was carefully timed to come out around now so that I can be hitting streaming in a month or two and then they will stream it incessantly up until November.

BUT here's another truth: There is alternative media including web publications and blogs (even such as Sigforum) that just didn't exist when there were only 3 network news stations, all controlled.

Thats why Goebbels oversaw the development of the Volksempfänger radio, to make sure the message got out. Sort of the same principal as Social Media.

Many dem voters cannot distinguish between reality and 1)Late night show commentary, 2) MSM propaganda, 3) Hollywood movies, or 4) TV shows.

This movie may sway votes, but it is likely intended to harden the hate from the left.

Sad to see attention paid to this egregious polemic, it's not just a simple action film. I read the plot synopsis in Wikipedia and saved time, money and aggravation.

Nearly every dystopian future story/movie from the past few decades is about a CONSERVATIVE takeover and tyranny. Handmaid's Tale, V for Vendetta, etc. And of course they always make the conservatives look like Nazis.

But the reality is that it's almost ALWAYS the far left socialists/marxists that do it in real life - Russia, Cuba, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Venezuela, Argentina.

I still like V - and the fact that it predicted a virus epidemic leading to a government takeover and installation of a dictator who controlled the media to maintain political control is not lost on me.

The Drinker nails it once again. Looks like it should be divisive, ‘journalists’ are sacred cow/central characters but, the overall story is poorly written, with undeveloped characters and mountains of bad technical details. Why are Americans killing each other in this flick, who knows...

This one goes scene-by-scene if any of you are interested in how this thing plays out.

From my understanding of American history, if there is going to be an internal "war", it's not gonna be like the last civil war. And I believe the mainstream is calling it that on purpose. It's not going to be a civil war...it's going to be a revolutionary war. The peasants against the elites, citizens against government. Big distinction I think.

Thanks for posting the two reviews. This movie does not seem very significant.

Thanks for the heads up on what I suspected anyway. I’ll certainly avoid this leftist garbage. A civil war would end very badly for their side. We have the guns and testosterone, and they have the unhappy women and beta males.

And just as I predicted, this movie is suddenly getting pushed hard again 5 weeks before the election.

Gotta scare those sheeple again that The Bad Orange Man will be a dictator!

Seems like a desperation move TBH.

Propaganda and politics aside, I found it to be just a very bad movie. The acting was flat, the dialogue was lame and the plot was almost nonexistent (journalists take road trip to DC to interview the president). I finished it but only after a few starts and stops.

Have you watched the movie at all?

I was trapped and very bored on a 16 hour flight and still wanted to run away from watching this.

Lame, totally plotless, pointless, predictable, boring.

The "war" is just a background, no explanation, nothing.

Save 2 hours of your life.
