So since Apple, Google and Amazon are blocking Parler as well as Amazon denying web service to Parler; what can we do to stay in communications?

Can our internet providers legally block websites used by us to communicate?

Even if they do it illegally, will courts stop them? Will lawsuits go anywhere, given that the courts have failed us?

Do we need to develop our own internet infrastructure? Do we have any banks that will block us from it?

Do we have conservative tech and web developers to help us?

What can they do to stop us and what can we do to circumvent their efforts?

Tony.

All excellent questions, some of which have occurred to me as well. Looking forward to some informed answers and opinions.

I'd think there's a business opportunity there IF the interference can be prevented.

That depends on someone with the means to set up hosting services that likes money more than they like being a partisan hack.

These are all private companies, and can do anything with their services/networks they want. If they want to ban conservative and/or gun sites/apps from using their platforms, there's nothing legally that can be done to stop them.

Minimally, conservatives should be building message groups based on platforms like Telegram (https://telegram.org/) Offshore based and encrypted. This would allow large group communication even if the big tech companies in the US want to block us.

Well, once you get outside The Swamp and various liberal shitholes, I'd think there'd be plenty of those kind of people.

Where they have us currently is that most web traffic at some point passes through servers owned by the commie cartel.

A good start would be repealing section 230. Businesses that advertise on liberal social media need to stop. Social media needs 'followers' for their income. Deny them that!

Contact your DC 'lawmakers' if you can find a conservative there anymore. They work for us, make them address the issue.

All they have to do is set up a blocker similar to what a lot of employers do. Your internet service provider will eventually call anything gun/firearm/survivalist/hunting related a "public health crisis". Wait and see.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Yeah. Hadn't thought of that. Suspect there isn't any practical way around that.

VPN?

I think that in the immediate response then is to create a network of free-platform servers. Lots of work to be done.

I think the cell phone companies could also cave. Either T mobile would first, or would not. Depends how the German thing plays out.

You would be amazed at what "they" could do.

Suffice it to say that whatever y'all come up with: If it uses the Internet and stock, off-the-shelf hardware and software, "they" can thwart it.

E.g.: The Mozilla Foundation is already talking about building stuff into the Mozilla browser to block stuff that isn't otherwise blocked. Their CEO didn't come right out and say it, but that's the plan.

So, how to stop this: There's a thread already on how to accomplish that: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram: Just Say "No". Amazon, Too

Make it hurt them economically to embark upon these courses of action. That is the only way, and it must be done now. If these companies get away with what they're doing now, it will just be extended until it covers everything.

Then it truly will be Game Over.

If Parlor were to figure out a way to disseminate their app outside of the Samsung, apple, and other type stores; those phone companies would send out updates preventing the app(s) from loading or operating. Wink

It's sounding like Parler isn't coming back. Their CEO on a Fox interview said their providers for phone, text massaging, legal, and more all dropped them at the same time.

Looking up Gab, that's hosted by Epik based in Seattle. Epik uses Amazon hosting. I wonder if they will be shut down next.

So they can legally (at this point) bock whomever they wish. Well, too bad we can't legally block them with a DOS attack or some other means. Just saying

Gab's already been through this and survived it--so far.

Gab has their own servers. Their domain registrar is Epik. Epik does have name servers in Amazon AWS space, but also in other network space.
