Well we had a lesson at church today about loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Might be the only part my 4 yo daughter heard of the whole sermon. She saw Bald1’s post and said “he must be their neighbor because he cares about her” so she picked Bald1. Since Bald1 asked to give it to old dino, Ashley/old dino is the winner. Thanks for all the kind words. I wish I could have given one to each of you here on the forum.

Wow ... thank you ! Email inbound to you. Bald1 and I are about 1,000 miles apart and we have done this same for each other in the past. We do stay in touch on a regular basis. Again, thank you to you and bald1 !

Ah this is good news indeed!

As with I'm sure others here, I have formed friendships outside of the forum with many members. In my case this despite not having met any face to face. As yes old dino is quite some distance from me here in "flyover country."

Thanks to 10X-Shooter for his generous karma celebrating his two decades here and his precocious young daughter for her insight. Ashley has gone through a recent rough patch what with the transplant and all, and this torch will not only serve a practical purpose lighting up the night outdoors as indicated by her father but should also light up her face with a smile.

... bald1 has been emailing me giving me a crash course on protected/unprotected batteries and their inner workings. I had no idea. bald1 is making sure we will be set up safely and we will be clearing what to buy regarding batteries and charger with bald1 before placing an order.

Feel like I am earning a few college credits ...
