Probably either roasted tomato feta pasta or Thai coconut chicken curry. Those are my two go-to comfort meals, and I usually make one or the other each week. Best of all, neither one requires significant effort.

DzozerBBQ Pork Nachos
This is easy and no big deal to me, but everybody loves them and I get asked to make them all the time. So I would call it my signature dish for that reason
Smoked Pulled Pork
BBQ Beans (I use Jack Stack beans, but any beans that aren't too saucy will work)
Tortilla Chips (I use On The Border)
Shredded Monterrey Jack Cheese
Sliced Green Onion
Sweeter BBQ Sauce (I use Q39 Original Sauce- Sweet Baby Ray's would be a good choice too)
Make like any other nachos putting the pork, beans, onion, and cheese on the chips and broil. Sauce on the top and on the side, served with sliced dill pickles.

GeorgeairDepending on the crowd, weather, etc., a mountain of brisket, butts, beef ribs on the Lang smoker or to really impress folks cassoulet. Specifically this recipe.
Holy SHIT this stuff will blow people's minds. Proper beans are key, and Rancho Gordo is the king of this. All their others are great as well.

I'm a rare guy myself, but you eat a steak as the person cooking them prepares it.

patwI like to make a few dishes. I like Chicken Piccata over pasta or mashed potatoes, Picadillo or when I am really in the mood, Shrimp and Grits-(with Andouille Sausage, thick bacon and collard greens). It's a bit of a treat for your taste buds and digestive system.

Briefly, lump or claw crab meat, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper, beaten egg, mayo, salt, mix with Ritz crackers. Pan fry in combo of butter and olive oil til golden brown.
If you refrigerate the mix before forming the patties, they are easier and cleaner to make.

SigJacketMom’s lasagna. She learned it in Vicenza from an Italian girl, without ricotta. Use a béchamel instead.

Johnny 3eaglesShrimp boil. Very easy, hard to screw up. I MUST use Smoked 100% beef sausage because my daughter is allergic to pork.
